Walchand College of engineering is one of the best engineering colleges in Maharashtra. It is located in Sangli City of Maharashtra.The admission in this college is based on marks scored in MHT-CET exam. Generally admission commences in the month of June and college starts by 1st Week of July. The college has a good placement record that's why this college is preferred by many students. The most sought after branches are CS and IT. The only drawback of this college that I found is it's location. Internship opportunities are not available in the Sangli city and most of the students need to go to either Pune or Mumbai for internship. The Campus is the most beautiful aspect of the college which is spread over 90 acres.

From 3rd year students get eligible for campus placements. Companies like Wipro, Microsoft, Infosys, Mahindra, SLK, etc. The highest package offered was about 12 lakh and the average package offered is 3-4 lakhs. The college has a good percentage of placement which is 85%.

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for the campus placements. There were so many big companies like emphasis. The highest average package was 3 lakh per annum. 70% of students got the job in the campus placements program.

D.Y.Patil college is having good name in kolhapurAslo having good faculty and when I was taking admission it was taking name kolhapur for its placement also. It was one of the famous college in city as well as known for Oldest college of engineering in kolhapur

RIT is An Autonomous College, with good placement history. If you have scored less mark's in CET due to some issue then you can catch this college. It's location is one of the big disadvantage for students. It come under rural area. Hardly you can enjoy outside the campus. College campus is good for food and sport activities. For Automobile Engineering cutoff is very low compared to other branches in RIT. For placement and other information you can check official website of college.

This college is good for knowledge and extra curricular activities. In this college the staff for each department is well experienced with good qualifications. Tha campus is also suitable for each student. There are separate hostel for boys and girls with good mess.

I chose this college as it was near to my hometown as well as this college is having the good teaching methods as well as we have good laboratory with all the good instruments as well as the college has all the activities as well as the college has good placements and good scoring as well as good GPAT scores so high chances for further studies and admissions. The admission process is simple through cet cap rounds.

Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli is one of the top 3 prestigious engineering colleges from Maharashtra so many students prefer the institute. The best thing about the college is it's teaching staff. Some of the experts in the respective fields guide students to achieve great things. The atmosphere of the college campus is soothing. The placements from the institute are amongst the best from the state. The infrastructure of the college is somewhat old but college is working on that front too.
