MUHS MDS Conservative Dentistry: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

MUHS invites applications for 13 specializations under the MDS course. The course is three years long.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have a BDS degree.
• The degree should be recognized by the Dental Council of India.

Selection Criteria

• The candidate should have taken the NEET MDS.
• If the candidate has a positive NEET MDS score, they have to go for counselling. The counselling procedure is described below:
  • Register on the website of the counselling authority. The links and necessary information will be provided on the NBE website.
  • Enter the relevant details like NEET MDS registration number, name, and so on.
  • You will receive a new username and password.
  • Login using the credentials to select your preferred college.
  • Lock your selection.
  • You can make multiple edits before submission. Once submitted, however, no edits can be made.
  • The designated authority will review the applications and allot the seats on the basis of the merit list.
  • An allotment letter will be sent to the candidate by email and post.
  • The counselling process will cost 26,000 INR.
  • The following documents will be required during counselling:
    • NEET MDS 2020 score card
    • NEET MDS 2020 admit card
    • Mark sheet of the first, second and third years of BDS
    • BDS degree certificate
    • Certificate of completion of internship
    • Class 10 certificate as proof of birth
    • Valid government identity proof
    • PWD certificate if applicable
    • Caste certificate if applicable

How to apply for NEET MDS?

For admission to MDS, candidates have to take the NEET MDS. To apply, they have to follow these steps:

• Go to the official website.
• Click on the NEET MDS 2020 tab to open the registration form.
• Enter your name, date of birth, and contact details.
• An SMS and mail containing your registration number and password will be sent to you.
• Upload your scanned photograph, signature and an impression of the left thumb.
• The files should only be in jpeg format.
• Select NEET MDS from the dropdown list under the Select Program option. Click Save and Continue.
• Read the ensuing instructions carefully, then click on Continue.
• Click on Apply for NEET MDS.
• Enter the required details. Then click on Save and Continue.
• In the next page, you have to enter details regarding BDS, internship, and so on.
• Click on Submit.
• Next, upload PDF files of the ID card which you will be carrying on the day of the examination as well as a DCI/SDC certificate.
• Both the files should be smaller than 500 KB each.
• Click on I Agree under the declaration.
• Click on Save and Continue.
• A fee of 3,750 will be charged for the application. It is to be paid online.
