CUSAT B.Tech {Lateral} Civil Engineering: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The college offers excellent study facilities, including an air-conditioned lounge, gym, play area, library, and sick room. The student pass rate is 90%, although some students have back papers due to less focus on academics. Each semester involves three exams: two internal and one external. The college attracts several international companies for placements, indicating the high quality of education and skill development. Major recruiters include Nissan, Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services, IBM, Cisco, TCS, Accenture, Air India, MRF, Ernst & Young, Hyundai, Visteon, Alstom, Zifo, SAP, Reliance Industries, IOCL, Gail, Amazon, Flipkart, Infosys, and HDFC Bank.

These companies offer interesting placement packages. The university aids skill enhancement through courses and internships, making it easier for prepared students to secure placements. Companies have different selection criteria, with some focusing on CGPA and others on specific skills. Students must pass all subjects to be eligible for placements. The Kerala Technical Education course is free for students with the e-grant scholarship; otherwise, a fee of approximately 1500 rupees per semester applies.

At CUSAT, there are three merit seats based on CAT rank with annually changing fees.
