My Experience: The good and the Bad

Likes

Overall College Environment: The atmosphere was motivating and students were generally encouraged to participate in clubs, competition and events that helped build both confidence and teamwork
Faculty and teaching quality was very goodn.. the lectures were well experienced and teach us in very practical way
Infrastructure and facilities were also good.. the bench where we sit were in good quality and they also provide drinking water, library for studies and good laboratories

Dislikes

Cultural activities like program, events and ethnic day were not easily allowed.. we have request them to repeatedly to accept it
Some events can be made like joint collaboration with other department for certain activities would be good and motivate students
Main drawback is placement.. I can promptly that we don't placement in our college thats all

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

Bad goodness of college

Likes

Campus placement is in the college there is useful and appreciable
Liked teachers because they are very humble personalities
Next there is an good ground to play backside of college

Dislikes

Some teachers are very arrogant and selfish
No provision of sports knowledge and sports. Kits
No balance of personal injuries like latrin and rst

They are four papers to m.sc physics and they will hard syllabus as 1st year and teachers also trying to complete syllabus in 2 year there is an relaxation in papers and quiet skill developing in this year

RIE MYSORE : A student's perspective

Likes

Campus life and atmosphere are so nice. Weather is also calming through out the year.
We can interact and know people from different states and parts of india.
Faculties are highly qualified and good learning environment

Dislikes

Hostel food need some improvement in terms of menu and quality
College timing is from 9.00 to 5.30 which is little hard to adjust
Collage currently doesn't provide summer vacation

College provide teaching placements to school from Karanataka, Hyderabad Tamilnadu etc. it's processed by the placement counsil in the College. The institute provide placement for almost every students.40000 is the average salary package. I'm thinking to research after this degree

The best college for education programs.

Likes

Good and well maintained infrastructure facility
conducting various programs and cultural events in a decent manner.
enough amount of classrooms and other study materials

Dislikes

some faculties are not taking classes regularly
the college is not giving importance to sports.
hostel food is very poor and is very bad.

Placement Experience:

the cllege provides a good placement with minimum 4 lakhs of annual income.for 8 semester and 12 semester are eligible for campus placements.highest pachage is around 15 lakhs per annum.my plan is to get placed in a reputed school.

Knowing more about RIEM

Likes

Library which is computerised and having dailies in regional languages as well as english
The telescope observatory under Physics department
The roads inside campus where students can walk freely.

Dislikes

The way college functions, where we have to write letter for everything, which is very tiring.
The timings which is from 9 to 5:30 which doesn't give consideration to students personal needs
The hostels and the food in the hostel both are substandard

Placement Experience:

The campus placements is given in the basis of marks. Different schools from South India come to college and takes interviews and other selection methods to give placement to students on the basis of marks and their performance in different selection tasks. The campus guaranteed 100 percentage placements The minimum package is 4lpa and maximum is 20lpa

In jss campus have good infrastructure,good library and canteen and labs .
In jss campus they have good factly and staff
Totally jss campus good in everything like campus ,factly , teaching etc

I am choosing msc mathematics am very much intreset in mathematics so am choosing thos course . Mathematics have very good scope and more opportunities in future . In msc its a pure mathematics is not a applied mathematics.

Likes

teaching, lab facility, field, enivironment, good campus
All facilities available within the campus for stdents
easy to do project work within the campus, hostel facility within the campus

Dislikes

attitude of some professors, they are irresponsilbel someties
campus cleaniliness less, some dirty places can see
should improve in library book colllection

Placement Experience:

4th semester students eligible for campus selection. Biocon, MNC companies, Pharmacy, HTL, Bitotechonlogy and bio information companies. MNC provide 3L CTC for freshers, Biocon will provide 2.6-3 L CTC, Depend on students skills. If students completed their project on developing some innovation company will provide 5 l CTC

Likes

Infrastructure was good and i like the infrastructure.

Dislikes

Boys girls ratio is 3:20 like boys are less and girls are more
Management is no good at responding to students.
No facilities available for post graduate students also they elect the president of student as there like and dislike, that is actually horrible and they won't allow to students to live freedomly in campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very much intrested in biotechnology, so i opted this subject to study and do my post graduation. College curriculum does't prepare me to real world applications my mentors teached me for real world application.

In msc biochemistry course you can learn a lot for your personal anf professional development
Campus quality and social interactions in our college was friendly and comfort.

Dislikes

Main drawback of our college was there is no placements for our stream
Education practically working on present studies

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very interested in sub medical field and i entered into biochem stream to make my interest subject into my life for more interesting. Well mainly in life science filed we should know to manage time to well study because there is no person to teach you with inch inch we have to study hard and make things practically practice to get in that field experienced thoroughly.

We are having very good teaching faculty
They are so positive and gave friendly environment with us
Our lectures are very supportive And they gave very good environment and PhD fellows are also very supportive
