What is an honest review of Bangalore University?

As per our research, students and alumni say that they would prefer studying at other universities solely for results and paper checking. Although the teaching and faculty is at par with other universities, results are rarely announced on time. Theres no proper calendar, exams can be conducted anytime, not good.Events such as seminars are very rare, no guest speakers, no frequent outside exposure. Most student reviews online say that in terms of evaluation and result it is the worst university. One may find hell lots of mistakes in the marks card. Most of the management has also reported to be corrupt. It is the worst for post graduation. Many students have failed due to the above-mentioned reasons and it has affected their careers as well.

Why are the ratings for Bangalore University so poor?

Students and alumni say that the ratings for Bangalore University should be more than poor, in fact, worse than what they are. This university does not have any proper timings for anything. They conduct exams when it is suitable for them. Bangalore has 70% of the population which comes from North India to study here to get good jobs and great careers ahead in life. They are inconsiderate towards students who have come from outside Karnataka. The faculty says nothing can be done. Bangalore university has no good rules and no policy. It is all just a waste of time.

How is Bangalore University, in terms of student friendliness?

Alumni report that if you are a student of any state outside Karnataka, you have to adjust a little with language and food. But if you find some friends from your state then it's alright. However there is a partiality between the students of Karnataka and other states. Surprisingly, students from Karnataka always get good marks in exams as well as in practical or internal tests compared to their knowledge. The relationship between professor and student also depends as some of the professors did not help the other state students properly. However, some of them are very good in nature and there has been no partiality at all. Alumni advise candidates that if they need some time for a government job and you need an environment to prepare, then choose Bangalore University. It will provide everything but if you are more focused on academic interest then go for any other institutions.

My college Life

Likes

The spacious filed and environment, the sports complex and the conference hall
Faculties were supportive except for some
We had two days of off that is saturday and sunday which is the best part

Dislikes

Some of the faculties lack english communication
At the end of the year the portions and some projects were not completed
Canteen can be demolished better and also the menu

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to the curriculem and the course overall was not bad but we had the over all project at the end of the which was a bit if challenging becaus we had to create websites for a paticular topic ex: Gym management system which i had and we could do the projects with team or indiviually it was upto the students so the project activity was the challenging and also interesting part

They provide lunch for students who cannot afford it
They have various fest conducted for each department
They give equal importance for sports as well as studies

Dislikes

The lab facilities are not up to the mark.
Sometimes the college seems to be more populated. Not enough area.
Sometimes teachers show partiality with the students

If the course is 3 years they will be elligible from 4th sem to attend the placement interview. Facebook, Beier etc..Highest I think 12 lakhs. average is 600000. The percentage of students getting placed will be very low. To get a good job and work towards happiness.

My I'm highly satisfied with the college and I love it.college have all the necessary infrastructure And we had good food equipment.
I am satisfied with the faculty members, and they provided good placements for the past 10 years.
Our College is Good there is strict rules if we don't,t like the class we can leave it.

Dislikes

Our College does not have a good library.
The seats availability for offered courses at Nrupatunga Degree College goes up to 710.
The College does not have play ground to play.

The placement process in our College is They will provide Soft skill training programmes for final-year students to get placed in top companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, ICICI Bank and more From 5 Semester students become eligible for campus placement More than 75% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA and 3 LPA is the lowest salary package. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Google, Amazon, etc. More than 75% of students get internships in companies. My plans after getting the degree is getting placed by a top company.

The college timings is scheduled like I have only 3hrs class which is very good compare to other colleges
They conduct many cultural events....they support students in promoting their talents....they provide opportunities to participate in intercollege fests
The surroundings of the college is awesome....the teaching methods are good....the teachers are soo friendly

Dislikes

In my opinion,my subject is soo thought for me.....they are giving more stress
Break time is same for all so at the time it is soo rush
There is no attendance for attending fest like pongal onam it is fully on students responsibility

The thing I like about this clg is the hours are less iam a first batch students my class starts at 7 and ends at 11 sometimes at 10 so I have more time so I can prepare for other exams and all and they also have arivu pro academy in my college
And the next is the college provide counselling for students who are in depression and they help them to get out of depression and the college has digital library and very rare collection and all there in my college and free wifi is also available
And they keep stalls in college to improve students entrepreneurship and develop them and there are lot of association in my college like tamil sangam kannada sangam ncc nss and sports

Dislikes

I didn't like about the college is the college canteen food i think the college canteen food is not so good which is very disappointed and next is the college campus is small as compared to other colleges and all have break at the same time
So every body will be having break at the same time so it feels like a fish market I think the college doesn't festival celebrate too grandly and we don't have girls hostel inside the campus and it is outside the campus
As every body will be crowded during break so we don't find a comfortable place to sit and chat and every celebration is done by student council and the celebration has no attendance which makes students to not attend

Placement Experience:

Yes my college offer placements and the students are eligible for placement from 3 rd year that is final year and the company like infosys and big 4 have visited and one my sir said only one student got placement and she got a really good package and the percentage of students getting placement I think so it is less it depends upon the skills of students and my plan after completing the degree is to do mba or so ca

The thing i like about my college is that even tho its smaller compared to other colleges it has all the necessary facilities.
The teachers are very friendly and we can approach them very easily
Location of the college is very good it is placed in the centre of the city which makes it easy to go to other places very quick

Dislikes

The strength in the college is very less which makes it hard for exposure
The mac labs are there but have of the computers are not working

Placement Experience:

I am not pretty sure about the placements given in my college but they conduct a lot of work shops and we can work as interns in multiple companies my plans getting a degree is to do my Masters abroad

According to the reviews online, Bangalore University (BU) is an average university and is known to be deteriorating day by day.

Students are irritated by their evaluation system.
They tend to check the answer sheets carelessly.
The faculty never completes the syllabus.
The announcement of results is delayed quite often.
The condition of the campus is deteriorating and no action is taken to solve it.
There is a lack of core technical subjects in B.Com.

It is suggested that you do not go for BU, as it won't provide learning and understanding courses, topics and the concepts. It will be better if you opt for VTU instead.
