Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose PGDM as it is a flexible curriculum where the syllabus is adjusted according to the industry standards. Management and the faculty take utmost care in choosing our syllabus and they support the students in every way possible. Faculties are very experienced and have international exposure.

Placement Experience:

From end of semester fifth, students are eligible to sit for placement interviews. Highest placement has been offered is 18 LPA and average is 7-8 LPA. Reputed companies visit for quality selection. Maximum students are placed in ISME. My plans after getting the degree is to work for good reputed company for 5-6 years and will think of my own business.

Placements are decent in our college with a good ROI. Last year highest package was 8 lac. Almost 80% students get placed.

Admission:

The admission to this college is based on the eligibility criteria. The graduation courses admission require that student should have scored more than 40% in 10+2 and for PG course student should have graduation degree.

St. Hopkins College prefers either a CAT score or MAT score to admit students for its MBA course.Besides the institute conducts its own Hopkins Aptitude test to admit student.Any graduate willing to get admission in this institute must apply through the institute?s website

Admission:

The entrance exam is the CAT, followed by a group discussion and a personal interview. Nowadays the CAT is entirely online based. The college is a tier 1 MBA chiefs for most recruiters and a strong network of highly placed alumni ensure excellent pavements every year.

Admission:

You should have a bachelor degree for admission in post graduate program. For some courses entrance exam is conducted by college and based on the scored merit list is generated. Thus, the seats are allotted.

St Hopkins College admits students based on CAT as well as MAT scores.Besides the institute has its own admission test called Hopkins aptitude test. Candidate must have be graduate in any subject with good communication skills for applying in MBA course

Remarks:

The infrastructure of our college is nice and the campus is huge and very nice. It is well facilitated with wifi, digital and non-digital library, canteen, labs, auditorium, etc. The campus life was amazing, faculties were great and the seniors were also friendly with us.

Best placement opportunities are available for this university. Good teaching, Nice infrastructure Always conducted seminars by MNC companies. We can work within the course period. Overall very supportive management.

According to the reviews online, Bangalore University (BU) is an average university and is known to be deteriorating day by day.

  • Students are irritated by their evaluation system. 
  • They tend to check the answer sheets carelessly.
  • The faculty never completes the syllabus.
  • The announcement of results is delayed quite often.
  • The condition of the campus is deteriorating and no action is taken to solve it.
  • There is a lack of core technical subjects in B.Com.

It is suggested that you do not go for BU, as it won't provide learning and understanding courses, topics and the concepts. It will be better if you opt for VTU instead.
