NIT Jamshedpur M.Sc. Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have a minimum of 60% in graduation in the relevant subject, from a recognized university
• Candidate must be eligible for JAM entrance examination

NIT Jamshedpur M.Sc. Selection Criteria

• The candidate will be selected based on the JAM score
• The selected candidate must attend the counseling process, which includes:
• The candidate needs to register first, then enter and lock the preferred institute in a descending manner, from the options made available to the candidate based on his/ her JAM score.
• The seats are allotted to the candidate based on the marks and the preference of the candidate

How to Apply for M.Sc. at NIT Jamshedpur?

• Visit the official website
• Register through the link by entering the candidate's name, Email ID and mobile number. Create a password as well. 
• Upon submitting the registration form, an Enrolment ID would be sent to the mobile number. 
• Now, candidates can start filling out the application form with the help of enrolment ID and password. 
• Enter the following details in the application form:
  • Personal details, 
  • Academic details, 
  • Address for communication (including PIN code) 
  • Eligibility degree details 
  • College name and address with PIN code 
  • JAM paper(s)
  • Choice of JAM examination cities 
  • Personal ID information: Aadhaar ID, College ID, Driving License, Employee ID, PAN Card, Passport, or Voter ID
  • Pay the application fee online. 
• Upon successful acceptance of the fee, the application will be considered accepted. Download the completed form and take a hard copy print of it for future reference. 

Check the status of the application form later of whether it has been accepted or rejected. Candidates will also be able to download the admit card from the same login portal later.

Steps to Apply for CCMN Counseling-

• Visit the official website of CCMN and Click on “New Registration” .
• Enter the JAM 2020 score details like JAM paper code, registration number, enrolment ID, and JAM score. Once the data has been entered, the candidate gets validated from Database and their full name appears on the screen with JAM score details.
• Enter the Personal details carefully.
• Click on “Proceed” to preview the filled application form. Based on their eligibility based on the entered score details, the valid available choices will appear for the candidates to apply. 
• After filling the password, create a password and click on the “SUBMIT” button.
• After submission, an OTP will be received at the candidate’s mobile number. 
• Enter the OTP and a Permanent Identifier (PID) will be created. 
• Once PID is generated, no more registration is allowed.
• Henceforth, click the “Candidate’s Corner” and log in with PID and Password and check the progress of each counselling round and choices allotted.
