There are very good placements in my university for UG as well as PG students. Our university gives us 100% assured placement. The companies that have visited campus for recruiting graduates are And also the university provides summer internship to the students and foreign internship also.
I like the campus library the most. It's so calming there and every genre is there .
I also like tha canteens there. As food there is so delicious and the workers are also kind.
Dislikes
I don't like the path as it is so tired to go up to the campus and then the lift also don't work.
I think there is a large population of students and it's kinda not maintained
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose the course food technology because I found it interesting and a not-so-common field for students. I wanted to learn more about the science behind the food.
The faculty here is really kind and helpful. They are well qualified to teach all those subjects and their methods of teaching are also understandable.
We have 2- midterm exams and the end-term exams which are quite normal to pass as the question are all from the study material of teachers.
In 7 semester you get eligible for placement.
Companies like, tech Mahindra, Byjus, Infotech, Tata visits for recruitment and about 40-50 offers are made during placement. Highest package is about 12 lacs and average is 6- 6.5 lacs and lowest is 2.5 lacs. About 70% students get placed. My plans are to go for higher studies in USA.
In the 8th semester, most companies visit for placement. This time for food tech Haldivita visited and I think 20% of students are hired and many companies visit. The highest package offered is 8 lac per annum and the minimum is 3 lac. Mostly 80% of students get higher and some students opt for higher studies. I also planned for higher studies and if I get a good placement then I will go for placement.
Very few companies visit in our last year. Nestle was the first one. The profile mostly available is field selling, marketing, target-based job. I don't remember any company for core roles in biotechnology like quality control. Even though Cipla came for the same profile for BSc students.
Last year students are eligible for placements. Lot of companies visited and n numbers of placements given. Highest package is 9lpa and the average is 6lpa. My plan after degree is to do job. Percentage depends upon the potential of the students.
I was interested in biotechnology. Shoolini has a great curriculum and excellent research record. It has one of the best H-index value in the country. Nestled in the lap of himalayas, the research potential is endless. A good number of companies visit the university making it suitable for people who want to pursue career in corporate as well.
As i am first-year student so dont know about the placement much at this time i am just studying at this time i dont know much but companies like nestle, Wipro and I mean product based companies came the most in the campus but companies came here dont think of google amazon they will but it took the time i think the average package of our university is about 2.5 lakh per year and the maximum package is about 12 lakh annual so i think 25 percent people sat for placements most do masters here . why should i tell you my plans its a secret.
As I am in my first year right now i dont have too much knowledge now. but there were placements going on right now for students who are in MBA and 4th year. there are many companies that visit the university for placements.
