NIT Hamirpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

They're eligible for placement from seventh semester. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, oracle, IBM, LNT, etc visit the college. Many offers are made. Highest package on campus is 60lpa while out of campus it goes upto 125 lpa too. Around 50 percent get placed. My plan is to go for higher studies after graduation.

there are ok placement opportunities but not so good there is a decrease in number of placement post covid and the package is also decreased due to the some past activities there is good opportunities for civil students after degree to go in government sector

The placement opportunites right now is not that great .one reason is the ongoing recession in the market and also companies have become fond of laysoff instead of hiring these times. But the college is trying its best to offer new opportunites and bring new companies recently dell technologies conducted a seminar and is ready to hire from our campus from now on

Talking about my domain ,i had an keen interest in technology development and therefore i decided to opt CS ,and the course gives abundant opportunitiea to develop skills and develop a better personality, through engagement in group projects and activities helpful for future endavours .So far the first year is a bit more hectic so i think distribution of course can be better . In a semester mid sem and end sem takes place making the count to be 2 in every semester

As I'm pursuing btech in mechanical engineering it's a core subjects so the statistics for the placement is quite low. As the course is designed for the very earlier batches that's why some things aree really not useful now

The placements are decent . Like the overall average package including all the branches comes around 10 LPA and the average placement percentage is around 85%. The highest offer depends on year to year like in the privious year , 2023 it was 52 LPA and in 2022 it was 1.51 Cr . CSE and DCS have highest placement packages with an average of about 16 LPA . If I talk about Mechanical Engineering, then the average package is around 8 LPA with highest of 18 LPA previous year ,which was 36 LPA in recent years . Amazon, CRED , Accenture, SAP Labs, IBM , Phillips , Godrej , Anglo Eastern , Maruti Suzuki , Tech Mahindra, TVS , Reliance Energies, L&T etc are some of the prominent recruiters .

Placement are good for few branches as the package provided is nearly 6-10 lakh but in today's time it's quite less but for computer science branch some students even get package in crores. From the 7th semester students can apply for placements.

after 6th semester students are eligible for applying in placements rounds. companies like Google , microsoft , texas instrument , oracle , deloitte, visited us every yaer for recruitement. highest package of 54 lakh from cse department was from this yaer. i am preparing for GATE examination 2025.

Yes my college provides campus placement Students from 3rd year starts to appear on campus internships and final year for placements Here many companies visits like Samsung Flip kart etc. last year hights package was 50LPA and average package was 12LPA But this year percentage of placements was not good as previous year My plan after getting degree is only one to be in MNC company at good package

Form 7th sem they become eligible for campus placement. There are many big names in company list like Welsfargo, honda, mahindra JSW , hiremi etc. highest this year I would say 32lpa and for avg I would go with 12 lpa. Placement percentage of over-all students is quite good it is aprox 65 percent this year. I also plan to do job after for some time.
