Likes
- The faculty of our department is very nice. they have very strong knowledge of the subject and also they are involved in very good research project.
- Yes college also provide many scholarships to students and they were too helping.
- "hillfair"-this is the cultural festival of the college two unforgettable nights filled with fun, joy, laughter, entertainment, learning, bonding, interacting with batchmates as well as seniors for the overall growth.
Dislikes
- The placements of my college have became quite bad gradually, and they have fallen quite badly .
- Hostels and their washroom are in pathetic condition. mess food is also not up to the mark . overall hostel condition is not good. almirah and chairs are broken ,
- Teachers and staffs are bit of biased to the himachal pradesh

- The number of classes per week gives us enough time to focus on co curricular activities.

From 7th semester onwards are the students eligible to sit for campus placements . More than a 100 companies visited last year with around 800 job offers with highest package of 1.75 cr per annum and average of 8 lakh per annum.

PLacements are relative depending on the branch.
Computer science students tend to have a higher preference for it company recruiters.
Core branches also have a decent amount of placement.
Average package is around 10 LPA.

- Campus has too many trees and it was very good for health
- Love the campus because of its greenery and the way it was constructed
- The educational system was good like faculties were also good and helpfull
Dislikes
- There is water shortage in hostels in summers which is disturbing.
- Wifi conditions in hostels are not so good that many hostels doesn’t have wifi facility
- The food stalls inside the campus are not so good.
Placement Experience:
The placement scenario in college was good like from last 2,3 years it was increasing as about an average 70% students got placed pn campus.The highest package was 1.7 cr abroad and in india it was aroung 52 lakh . So the college have good placements records overall.

Placement Experience:
Most of the students are eligible for placements from 7th semester but few are eligible from 5th semester based upon your skills and enthusiasm.Highest package is record breaking upto 1Cr and percentage of student placed is also very high..Overall the placement is good

- College infrastructure is too good, sports facilities are also good, professors are highly qualified and teaching techniques are amazing
Dislikes
- College connectivity is not good, we have to travel for 3 hours in bus in hilly region to reach out college from una railway station.
Placement Experience:
There is decent placement in our college, the college provides almost 90% placement to CSE students whereas for core branches placement is little bit less it is about 70%. IT Companies which come for placement allow other branch students also to sit for placement in their company.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum of Nit Hamirpur more specifically based on industrial or real world problems solving scenarios. It help students to tackle the real world problems and come up with optimal solutions to problem. The exams level is touching the gate level.I thing teaching should be in bilingual maner(Hindi and English)

Course Curriculum Overview:
I think the first year will be a bit tough but the coming years will be as per your branch. First year includes basics of all engineering which is essential for overall growth of an engineer. Apart from that all the clubs and societies have their eyes on the first years. So its always a bit hectic but its upto a student to manage time efficiently

- The culture of this University is quite good. Seniors helps juniors a lot.
Dislikes
- Teaching is not up to the mark. It can become better.
- Campus is closed so you cannot go outside without permission.
- Very much restrictions on first year students. They need to calm down
Placement Experience:
The campus Placements from computer science department is quite good. Almost more than 80%+ students gets placed every year with an average package of 10 lakhs approx. students can opt for placement in their final year or 3rd year. For internship students can opt from any year.My plans after getting this degree is to get a placement or to go for doing higher education (PhD).

- learning new subjects and diving in the subjects i was passionate about. Participating in campus events like concerts, sports and other festivals.
- joining clubs, organizations. Engaging in discussions and debates that challenged my thinking.
- utilizing the college's resources such as library ,labs.
Dislikes
- Heavy workload including number of assignments, projects and exams.
- Its very hard to balance academics with extracurricular activities .
- Raging is one of the main thing i would like to dislike most.
Placement Experience:
Campus placement is excellent for exam last year one student got 70 lakh package
of chemical engineering.Average package is 7 lakh of this college. If college placement is not offered one can apply for off campus placement and can also prepare for some exams .

- Ourr campus is the one of the most beautiful campus among all nits .the infrastructure of our clg is good the environment pf our clg is calm amd have too postive vibes .nit hamirpur provides us good facilities and technology and make our future brig
- The placements of cse and other branches is also good and the tecahers are also very helpful and motivate the students erveytime and give the solution of every problem of student .the sports facilities are also very good in our college
- The main thing which i like about my clg is that there are many societises and clubs in ourr clg for organization of fest so studebts can get great knowledge by gettinv slelcted to this clubs and socities .nih works on over all development of a stude
Dislikes
- I thingh the rank of our clg is going down due to the mistake of students as well as professor's also .. this is due to the bnot a good good bond betwen students and teacher
Placement Experience:
The placements of our clg mainly cse dcs will get upto 20 lakh per anum packages there are MNC companies which come to our clg and hired student from this clg .the palcemts of civil branch is 10 lakh per anum which ia low as compared to other branches so my views if you are coming here for placements so dont take civil branch ..because the packages of this branch is very low
