PGIDS as a dental school

Likes

Good exposure provides you with better skills
Patient load is high permitting you to practice better
National level institute provides you with all the workshops and seminars

Dislikes

Departments are located far apart so that becomes an issue
Campus security is a topic that is highly debated now

The curriculum is as per the curriculum suggested by dental council of India. No major differences. Standard books and pattern is followed. One needs to involve his/herself in the seminars and conferences that take place in order to build up a better profile

Good amount of patient exposure which helps in learning practical work
Faculty is good and they share there experiences which helps us
Good infrastructure good classes good labs

Dislikes

No good canteen aur place where we can have lunch
Faculty are too busy and it makes ud difficult
Too much patient exposure without proper hygiene

The infrastructure is good having full or greenery all the way.
Fully ventilated lecture halls and having ac during summers.

Dislikes

Students are not allowed to go to library and sit here during college hours.
Students are not allowed to go outside in between the timing of college

The practical work and the art in the dentistry influence me to choose this course. The curriculum prepares us for real world as we can correct smiles or people. Improvement in the course curriculum is only one is that in 1st year practical should me more than theory.

Big campus, hardworking and highly educated faculty
Campus filled with beautiful trees and environment
The patient flow which makes us easy to learn them

The food menu keeps repeating every week
The heat and winters are severe here too
The roads need to be reconstructed again

All the people here in Swami Devi Dyal Hopital and Dental College are very friendly to be with.

Dislikes

Transportation here in Swami Devi Dyal Hopital and Dental College is not that upto the mark and many difficulties can be caused.

Pros/Cons of choosing the college

Likes

I like the infrastructure of the college. The faculties are very good
The teacher are helpful and very much educated
Lots of facilities such as library, sports are provided

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college could be better
The canteen could me more neat and clean.
More facilities should be provided to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose Bds as there ar no emergency patients as compared to MBBS. If you can establish your own clinic you can earn a handsome money. You can be your own boss. The student ratio is also very good in our college. The faculties are very much educated and supportive. Though the studies are little hard still you can pass exams easily if you study hard. The exams are on time and the teacher will guide you very well for exams.

All the staff is very helpful weather its teaching or non teaching.
And college infrastructure is also very good
College also habe gamming room and gym so that students can stay fit and active.

Course curriculum is divided into four year professional year and one year of compulsory internship. And faculty members of college are very supportive and encouraging towards students and always motivates students to do there best and become ones beat version.
