The curriculum is as per the curriculum suggested by dental council of India. No major differences. Standard books and pattern is followed. One needs to involve his/herself in the seminars and conferences that take place in order to build up a better profile

Internships Opportunities

The college at the end of 4 years provides you with a paid internship for 1 year in which you are paid around 24000 in which you get a lot of clinical exposure and learn to interact with the patients this enabling you to establish your practice or appear for MDS

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fees per year is 53000 which keeps on changing by a small amount every year. Examination fees is to be submitted at the time of exams and hostel charges are 23000 per year and security amount of 10000 is to be deposited in the form of DD

Campus Life

There are a lot of events taking place in the college every now and then . The major sports event is spardha which is the annual sports meet. Armscon is the annual event in which different activities like dance music dramatics cultural everything takes place . Other events occur during festive seasons followed by DJ nights

Hostel Facilities

Truly saying hostels are not so good. They are very old with lack of basic modern facilities but at the end hostel Life provides you with a lot of fun and thrill so at the end you learn to adapt and adjust with your batchmates

Admission

On the basis of marks and ranks one needs to chose this college as it is one of the best colleges for dental science in India and provides you with lot of opportunities and exposure so you can develop better and better skills

Faculty

Faculty is well experienced. Exams take place once a year. You are made to practice with the help of internal tests and sent ups. 75% attendance is a major criteria to be fulfilled in order to sit for the exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the first year is similar to that of mbbs cause the course has all the subjects present in mbbs and also 2 subject extra which is preclinical.so the curriculum of the first year is similar. Also the other years subject are similar to general medicine.

Dentistry is more often chosen course after mbbs As it was World wide accepted degree So you can go anywhere in other countries after bds and you will get good salary minimum 75lakh to maximum 3 crore and if you have ability to setup clinic so you can easily get up upto 1 lakh per month easily

There are some subject which are going to be common with mbbs physiology and anatomy and biochemistry and also they are most difficult in whole course. Placement Experience:

I am a BDS student so for us right after finishing our BDS we are eligible to practice ourselves. Now it is on you whether to go for MDS or not, or whether to move abroad for your practice, we have our internships in the 5th year where we are taught how to deal with patients in real life so our journey starts right from our internships, a lot of fresh Doctors who have passed out from this college are doing great in life. I have a clear set of thoughts in chronological sequence as to this would be my way forward which includes doing MDS and going for opening my own clinic after which I shall move abroad for my practice.
