Placement Experience:

i think the students become eligible for placements from the 13th term. our first batch hasn't graduated yet. they are due to graduate in 2026. but certain law firms which have visited our college and have offered internships to our students are Khaitan & Co., Luthra, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, IndusLaw. Honestly, I have not decided yet what career i would want to pursue but yes, having a campus placement in hand definitely gives a sense of security. I may pursue an LLM after this or may enter into litigation.

Placement Experience:

Internship help is offered during the 3rd year of BBA and good companies such as Zomato and JLL have visited campus for this. During the 4th year, summer internship processes start within a month of the beginning of the academic year. The placement committee functions transparently and honestly while aiming to ensure 100% placements. Most of the students succeed in getting placed. For internships, top companies like EY, Capgemini, DE Shaw, DCM Shriram, Tata AIA, etc visit the college and the highest package offered was for around 4 lakhs for 2 years with many of the companies offering PPO's. For the 5th year, final placement processes take place and achieve 100% placements. Top companies like Mercedes, Amazon, Aditya Birla Capital, etc visit and highest package was around 50 lakhs with the average package being around 19 lakhs. Roles are majorly offered in the field of marketing and strategy.

Placement Experience:

Iim rohtak have 100% placement as they claim in their every placement reports. In 2023-2024 207 recruiters came to campus and there was 95 students from IPM batch and 226 students from PGO batch with average work experience of 22 months got the average package of around 19.6 lakhs and media CTC is -around 17.2 lakhs with 48 lakhs is heightest package offered at the campus. And the most jobs offer came from the marketing and strategy field and the highest average package offer from the field of Products management and IT operations which is of 25.6 LPA. My plan is to getting placed at first to gain some industry experience and launching my own startup after that.

Final placements at IIM Rohtak are always on a better note as compared to internships. Companies started visiting the campus as early as July and kept on coming until March end so it's a non stop process and you have to be always ready to wear your suit and go for an interview. Companies like ICICI, Capgemini and Cognizant are the mass recruiters for IIM Rohtak with each one of them hiring around 20-25 people from our batch paying 14-16 LPA. The overall average was around 18-19 LPA with the highest around 48.

In 2022, the VGSOM IIT Kharagpur business school achieved a 100% placement rate for its students. All 97 students who registered for the placement process were successfully placed in jobs. The highest salary package offered during the placement process was 31.98 LPA, while the average package was 19.36 LPA. These strong placement results demonstrate the success of VGSOM IIT Kharagpur in preparing its students for the job market and the value that employers place on its graduates.

Here is an individual's experience at IIT Roorkee, which was one in which he received admission to the institute in 2004 after having eight years of work experience. At that time, the management programs at IITs were relatively new and placements were not as strong as they are now. Despite this, he decided to attend IITR and focus on their studies and enjoying their MBA experience, rather than worrying about job prospects. As a result, he performed well academically and was able to secure an okay job in the IT industry. Through hard work and dedication, he was able to triple his salary within four years and work on projects in various countries. Ultimately, he retired in 2010 to travel and is still doing so seven years later. The goal of Executive Programs is to enhance the already existing skills of working professionals. The worth of the main Executive Program of any given institute depends on the following 2 factors

Fees: The total fee of the Executive Program at IIM Rohtak is ?7.86 Lakhs (Total Fees). The same programs of other top B Schools range from 3-5 lakhs depending on no. of subjects and level of engagement. So considering the high fees, IIM Rohtak’s Executive Program is not worth it.
Ranking: The reputation of the B School you are planning to pursue the Executive Program from is very crucial. The PGP from lower-ranked B Schools have very less value in comparison to older IIMs. Unfortunately, IIM Rohtak is nowhere near the top 10 IIMs so their Executive Programs fare much below in terms of brand value.

Due to the above reasons the Executive Programs at IIM Rohtak have no placement assistance at all.

A few years of professional experience will undoubtedly boost your CV and qualify you for top-tier B-schools in India and abroad.

Alternatively, if you don't already have a satisfying job offer or want to pursue your master's degree for other reasons, IIM Rohtak is a good option.

If you don't have a job offer and only want to pursue an MBA from a top-tier MBA program, this is a difficult decision to make. Firstly, wasting a year in preparation is not worth it. You may believe that with a high score, you will be able to pass the exam next year and gain admission to top B-schools, but the truth is that even MBA colleges frown upon a gap year in their admission interviews, and it is difficult to account for when interviewing for placements and jobs.

Go for IIM Rohtak and make the most of the opportunities there. In reality, it is a central government-sponsored institution with standard and excellent academics, curriculum, and campus infrastructure.
