1:45 faculty to student ratio learning experience is good , teachers are helpful , they are approachable, teacher are well qualified and have good knowledge of their subjects, teachers need to bring creativity in their teaching
Another thing i liked is auditorium.it is very cool and it has seating capacity of almost 1500 students. the sports facility is also very good all the sports are available like basketball, badminton etc.
The best thing about this college is that there are many scholarships one can benefit and the fees are not so high and not so low.

Dislikes

No big culture fest is there, parking facility is not good.
Hostel mess food is not good, campus has no ac in class.
Some teacher's don't want to teach and don't support students in any of the work.

DCRUST THE PLACE FOR NIGHT LIFE

Likes

The infrastructure is well designed and roads are neat and clean
Cafeteria and complex are easily accessible
Hostel facilities are very good, provides good environment for studies

Dislikes

Lack of sports equipment and infrastructure
Lack of maintenance of gardens and grounds
Lack of sports events and tournaments for university students

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course are faculty and infrastructure For now there is no requirement of improvements in course curriculum and teaching methods

HCE light for engineering

Likes

Teachers are cooperative. Fest are organised regularly and study didn't affect dur to feats.
Building structure is good looking and very energetic.
Railway station and bus terminal nearby the college.

Dislikes

Canteen is not soo good there are lack of food items.
Small size of college campus and some area is too old.
There are lack of girls in other branches then computer science.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very excellent there is no improvement required in the course and the teachers are very experienced help every student motivate them and providing the notes the teachers also told the students to study hard.

In placement 2nd year student are eligible and 3rd year student . Local and some other company are also visited. Placement record is about 70%.and I am planning to do job as a finance manager.many student are placed in bba last year.

Our University in brief

Likes

First of all let's talk about the campus life. It is average not good not bad. I enjoy in being in a huge campus and love the greenery. College fests take place and there are various societies for entertaining and be in touch with some great people.
The faculty is good in my department. They are cool and understand students problems. The teaching style of the professors is good enough to grasp the topic. Doubts are also cleared on the spot. The subjects and curriculum is well designed.
The Infrastructure is average. It was built some 10-20 years ago or maybe earlier. But now it is being renovated. All the other amenities are also fine. Sports competitions are also held so that students can get another choice also besides study.

Dislikes

There are delays in the work and sometimes much much time is wasted. The swimming pool was built 2 years ago but it has not started till now due to some case. The workers keep delaying the work again and again.
Placement is good according to the college but it has more potential to grow. Sometimes the efforts put in by the Training and placement cell is low(considering package). The services provided inside the campus can be much better.
The mentorship role is somewhat low inside the campus. Less seminars are held for motivation and related to latest technologies. Sometimes the rigor of the course is fast at the last to complete the syllabus so it is difficult to grasp it.

Placement Experience:

Placement of the College is mid (Avg Package of the placed candidates-5.5 LPA) Students are eligible for campus placements in 7th and 8th sem. Companies visited our campus include TCS,Veersa Technologies, Havells, L&T, Exceedence, Aarohin Technologies, Daffodil, Solitare Infosys, Volvo, Genpact. Some more are there I didn't remember the name. Every company gives different packages such as TCS- 3.36/7/9 for UG , 4.5/7.5/11.5 for PG, L&T -around 6 LPA, Aarohin- 5LPA, Volvo - 5LPA, Daffodil- 5/6 LPA, Veersa Technologies- 7.5 LPA, Genpact-3.5 LPA. Percenatge of students getting placed who are eligible for placements in my department is around 50-60%. My plan is give GATE Exam and persue masters degree in prestigious institution.

A Mixed Experience: My BBA journey at Gateway Institute

I like the infrastructure of the college.
The campus life is nice if you are with nice people
the teachers are very helpful regarding activities related to the college

Dislikes

I don't the teaching style here, sometimes the teacher just focus on narrating the topic in our notebooks, by which students don't really understand the topic deeply
placements are mostly related to sales, less related to other departments.
crowd can vary in this college, depending on which department or batch you are.

Placement Experience:

from the 5th semester the studetns are eligible for sitting in campus placements, the previous companies which came in here are tyagi innovations and policy bazar, they average package was 3.5 lack p.a., and as far I know the highest package in gateway is around 12 lack p.a. , and the average package is 5 lack p.a.. almost 50% of students gets placed in companies. my plans after getting the degree is do a job in hr and also prepare for IIm side by side.

Likes

The first thing is that the college is near my home.
Everyone can travel easily and there is no danger while come to college as it is near road.
This college is good for study for the bba as well as for other courses

Dislikes

As i say , i didn't get the point to say about it's disqualification
The building of the college is very old.
The classrooms have the old furniture but in good condition

Placement Experience:

Our college is providing the best placements in big companies like reliance and icici bank and Infosys etc and the average salary package for the beginner is around 10 lakhs per annum. And after that the company also increase in salary upto 15-16 lakhs per annum.

The Department is very cooperative and conservative
Technical department is very good and knowledgable
Library is very big and lot of books are there

Dislikes

Water facility is very bad and not proper sanitized
Personal vehicles are not allowed so you have to walk a lot
In some departments ac's are not working

Placement Experience:

In 7 semester exams we are eligible for placements , Veersa Technologies and Tcs and many morr comapnies visted over college every year the highest pacakge is 9 LpA and average package is 7 LpA most of the students got placed and i will be also planning for placements

This college is so good. They give COLLEGE like exposure as well as school like discipline. They'll help you out in everything, if you're weak in academic you can take doubt classes and teachers are willing to teach you after lecture also.
Events and Functions are more frequent as compare to other college in this region. Faculty supports students for various types of clubs, performances n special events.
Like every other good college we also have quite good cafeteria and library... no one will stop you.

Dislikes

I personally don't like trip culture here, tey do not organize good trips frequently... if you're a travelling lover then you're going to be disappointed.

Placement Experience:

There is 2 months of time given for internship during 4 sem. So you can be ready for industry level problems. They provide placements to mote than half students of college. Wipro, TCS, Infosys, UHBVN etc. Like companies visit here for on campus placement. This college got a placement cell where you can go and ask for any problem with you for placement. I am thinking to got a good job after degree here and then go abroad for masters.

A better place for quality education

Likes

I like the most its infrastructure and teaching faculties.
Safe and secure environment for girls. All gates have security gaurds.

Dislikes

Administration is not cooperative and supportive.
Vice chancellor doesnt listen about the students problem
Purchasing files are not forwarded by the VC for the phd scholars.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am doing phd so I dont have any curriculum but some time I teach master's students and saw their curriculum its much impressive and timely achievable. The exams are being conducted two times every year.

Likes

Campus is very large, you wouldn't feel bored because alot things to do in the university campus
Cafeteria area is too good, nd almost 5 are there in university campus
Auditorium is very huge, feels like a totally big cinema hall

Dislikes

So teachers are bad at teaching, you should really on your own study
Campus is very big, hard to go for at the end of it
Paper is little bit harder compare to other university

Placement Experience:

See, almost 70% of student get placed in on campus. Average salary that a student get paid after placed is 4 to 5 lakh per annum. But if you think this will going to same for ever brach, then you arw wrong.
