Goa University North Goa Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The Campus placements are not great but pretty good for a Goa based College. The highest package was 14lpa till date and mostly companies come with various packages. Visteon made an offer of 7lpa and other few companies who brought packages for students. After getting the degree i am planning to work and get a job either through college or by applying.

I'll rate it a 8/10 Curriculum prepares you for real world computer and technical applications They need to organise exams in orderly manner The difficulty level is too hard according to timeperiod they should increase time periods and schedule accordingly

There are placements for college but it is difficult for placement for all the students because on revolutionisation a AI and market keeps changing and changing. Highest package is 12 lakh and average is 3 lakh annually

After eight semesters you become eligible for the placement drive Highest average package in the civil engineering department is 3 lakh not more than this. Very less amount of students get placement in this department

The 8th semester students gets eligible for the placements and the placement starts after the first internal exams and most of the companies visiting I like designing site engineers or plant quality engineer in which day higher user training and the average pay is 15000. On an average 12 to 15 companies come in the college for placements for each department and around 70% students gets placed and the remaining I helped by the teachers to get place in the companies which they know or a familiar with.

After 7th semester you are eligible for placements by the end of 8th semester companies will be approaching college and jobs will be offered Different companies approach and they take interviews according to how many students enrolled for their company For me different companies like ultra tech and deep builders and assmass construction approached and offered of average of 20 to 25,000 salary as a beginner Highest average package would be around 35,000 and lowest is around 15,000 Around 70 to 85% students gets placement. Rest of the students mostly go for their own business or different private companies My plan after the degree is to continue with my dad's business which is road work/ pwd contractor

Placements are good I'll say... Atleast in the computer engineering department we have a good rate of students getting placed in comparison to other departments of the college. Companies come from the 3rd year mostly 6th semester of college till the final year completes of a particular batch. Companies like one shield, Visteon, IVF, PSL, Appstrail , Infogen, Infuse, Germin8 and many more has visited. Around 75-80% students have been placed by now. Packages depends and varies on companies. They have ranged from 2L to 10L too

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. If average percentage is above 65% till 6th semester, we can possibly attempt all companies (no backlogs in any sem) including HSBC, Accenture, Capgemini, Infosys etc. IVP gave highest package of 8LPA and average package was around 4LPA.

Once we are into final year, we can sit for the interviews and mind you placements at PCCE are amazing as a considerable number of IT companies come here for hiring. Wipro, Polaris, Happiest Minds, Nazara Technologies to German company Bosch have been consistent with their hiring from PCCE.

I would say that my course have more opportunities then the others in future, it is a well known course across the world and there are many countries provided good jobs to VLSI engineers so its satisfying
