The truth about the GOA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Placement Experience:

The placement at my college are decent. Students from Computer and IT department easily get placed at a company. The companies that frequently visit Goa engineering college are persistent, one shield, Infosys, tcs , Wipro etc . Each year there are around 300 offers received in the entire college. The highest package a student has got is 15lakhs per annum from TurtleShell. The average package is 6 LPA. Around 50% od the students get placed. I wish to work at a product based tech company after my graduation.

A Very Good Goan College for future engineers

Placement Experience:

The Campus placements are not great but pretty good for a Goa based College. The highest package was 14lpa till date and mostly companies come with various packages. Visteon made an offer of 7lpa and other few companies who brought packages for students. After getting the degree i am planning to work and get a job either through college or by applying.

Goa University offers you with all the good aspects there are of a university. The students who have passed out from here will agree to it- about the faculty and placements as well.

The previous year students have the same feedback about the professors there like the present year students.
The faculty is very supportive and polite.
They make sure to keep you updated with all the latest technology.
They know what they are teaching and have in-depth knowledge of their specialised courses.
But do not leave it all to them because there has to be efforts from your side too.
It is always about give and take, it has to be both ways.
As for the placement, certainly, some good companies and IT MNCs come for the recruitment and if you have it in you, then you can crack the interview as well.
You will have to make sure to keep your result up to a level and appear for the interviews.

It is not easy but if you set your mind to it, then it is possible. You can talk directly to the alumni to find out more about the intricacies of the course and the college.
