Placement Experience:

In the final year, companies come to hire. Many companies visit our college, mostly the software and consultacy ones. The core ones are only Tata and L&T. Our minimum package for 2021 passout students were 5 lakhs. And max was 15. Average was 8-9. Due to pandemic, fewer companies visited our campus, as a result some students remained unplaced. Things are getting better on Placements side now.

Remarks:

Good Aspects: The placement of NIT Delhi is far better than other new NITs. The average package is more than 10 LPA this year(2021-22). More than 30 students out of total 160 students who are sitting for placement got 16+ LPA package and most of them got more than 8 LPA package. There are less students , so less competition. Even 1st year students got chance to participate in Inter NIT Tournament. Only 3 branches are there: CSE, ECE, EEEBad Aspects: 1. Very few faculties are permanent and other are on contract basis.2. No permanent campus yet(may be in 2022)3. Hostels are very far from college as no hostels for boys in campus till now as campus is not permanent.1. Admission process is similar to other colleges like you will require your 12th and 10th grade marksheet or provisional marksheet , passing certificates. 2. If you belong to particular category(like OBC, SC, ST) then you require proper document and its format is available on jossa website. 3. OBC is valid for those income is less than 8 lakh. 4. And the tuition fees is different on the basis on income and irrespective of caste that is less than 1 lakh, between 1 to 5 lakh or more than 5 lakh. You need income certificate for that.

Remarks:

Pursuing M.Tech from an NIT is a dream for many and with my will and hardworK I was able to secure a seat in this institute. NIT, Delhi was 35th in IndiaToday's 2020 rankings for Engineering and most importantly holds status; Institute of National Importance. Our institute is most popular for its BTech/ Mtech programmes while admissions for the M.Tech course are based on the GATE entrance score which is then followed by the counselling.

Remarks:

A lot of institution tell themselves as the best but without any doubt, NITs/IITs are the backbone of technical education in India and that's the reason I also decided to do BTech from an similar college. NIT , Delhi is an institute approved by both UGC and AICTE. It was 35th for BTech in 2020 rankings of the IndiaToday group. For admissions in the institute candidates must apply through the centralised counselling of JOSAA agency.
