Eligibility Criteria

Only those candidates shall be considered for admission to the Ph. D. Programme who have —

Master’s Degree with 55% marks or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed.

Obtained two years M.Phil. degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized University/Institution (with dissertation/seminar/Viva) is essential or a one-year M.Phil. with 55% marks with an additional one year of research experience from a recognized University/ Institution, and one publication and 55% marks or equivalent in Master’s degree.

A candidate seeking admission after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree program should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed.

For Ph.D Foreign Nationals:

(i) Tuition Fee:

@ US $2097 per semester for courses in science disciplines;
@ US $1398 per semester for courses in humanities and social sciences;
(ii) Incidental charges: @ US $ 279 per semester will be charged from both the above categories
