It helps in availing various types of scholarships that can help students financially
The best thing about pharmacy department is that they have very good teachers and faculty members . they are highly educated and very experienced.
Their placement is good because 60% of students got placed in good companies like tcs, and amazon, but their placement eligibility is a very tough process because colleges give good cgpa marks, then you change to give interviews on campus.

Dislikes

Financial aid is not for the general student as i also wanted that because of financial crisis but nothing happened.
Scholarship is next to impossible to achieve as the process is very difficult.
Placement rate is very low and does not provide any aid .

Exploring Jamia Hamdad

Likes

Infrastructure is amazing. Air condition classrooms are well maintained.
Basic facilities like charging sockets, hygienic and clean drinking water are available at every corner.
The teachers were highly qualified and most of them are Doctorate graduate.

Dislikes

The admission process is very lengthy. They did not take a university admission test.
The fees of the courses is very high, which makes it very upscale for the middle class families.
Less placement rates and nearly no internship opportunity provided by the institution.

Students become eligible from the 6 semester for the placement but many of them could not make it because of the less seriouness among the student for the placement as the placement rate is very low in the college so many of the average students already gets demotivated which also plays a cruicial role in there failure. The highest ever paking which I have heard is of 20 lakhs which is givin through college placement. Average salary is in between 3-4 lakhs per annum. only 10% of students gets college placements.

College campus is good in comparison to other college we have greenery in our college .
our college have mosque inside campus it is good for us
college have strict rules for other college student

their is no availability of cold water everytime
Their is no Air Conditioner in all classrooms

I like the faculty they are very helpful and cooperative
The infrastructure of the university is quite good
Talking about placement is average as compared to other colleges is good

Dislikes

Surrounding is polluted and not good for girls
Talking about food is very unhealthy for everyone
And rest everything is fine I enjoy my time

Placement Experience:

Talking about the placement as it's a semi government college it has average placement in my course is 12 lakhs per Anum and talking about highest package was 53lakhs which is good and it also provides college placement

the overall college is nice it is good for people who wants to do mbbs pharmacy as it is the top notch quality if jamia hamdard campus , btech is average like a third tier college shuould be , btech bca mca all these fields in hamdard are avg and one
the hostels are good kinda mid and average as the histel fees is 160000 for an year which is quite high
you will find both good and bad people here it depends on you whom you decide to roam with as you become the average of your friend group so choose it wisely

Dislikes

the fees is much higher for a third grade college it really depends alothough in which course you are as other courses like pharmacy and mbbs are good
with the high fees paid the infrastructure lacks some here and there places the hostel also lack in infrastructure
in btech no teacher follows the strictly time table scheduled which comes from the dean office

studente become eligible in the end of their course like 7 or 8 of their semester companies like tcs wipro come jamia hamdard for college placements and sometimes offer students like upto 12 lpa for their performance in the exam or interview round help in the inside of collehge labs

the campus is green and full of trees. it is environmental friendly.
the campus is ragging free. if anyone is found indulged in such activities, there is action against them.
the infrastructure is good . its clean and well built.

Dislikes

no proper maintenance is there. one lift is always not working
way of teaching of some teachers is not good.
no proper area for yhe students to sit in their free time

Course Curriculum Overview:

i feel the syllabus is not well structured. there are few subjects which should be taught before the others to build the base. and there are some subjects which have no relevance to the subject. they just act as a burden

Honest Jamia hamdard Btech review

Likes

The college has good sports culture , we can play volleyball , basket ball , football 7 aside , badminton inside the sports complex
Faculty are good some are good faculty , but moreover they are either guest faculties and also some are experienced from DU and Jamia milia islamia as well they teach in both colleges

Dislikes

Behaviour of some teachers and also I didn’t like the fact that when it is summer time the classes are held in 2nd or 4th floor where there are no Ac but only fan , Acs are only located in LT classes which are ground floor classes .
No placement services are provided by the college there are some placement cells in college but all are wasteful

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester atleast should have 7.5CGPA to be selected for campus placement Companies -infosys etc Highest. Ever package -18LPA Average package -7LPA -Students dont go for campus placements Plans after getting degree -Find a job outside India

3-4 months does it take for the placement to officially get over. No, everyone do not get placed. 90 % of the students remain unplaced in the final placements the companies that hire students in bulk for placements are Wipro, Infosys mainly.

Placement starts from end of third year. Not everyone got placed in campus avg. Ctc would be 5-6lacs ... Highest would be 8-9lacs Lowe'st would be 3lacs . Companies hier in bulk at 3-4 lpa salary. Placement committee is 100% pure

Not everyone is fortunate is enough to be placed but some do get placement from hamdard. Median ctc offered is around 5lpa. Most students have to go look for jobs but the ones that do get offered are around 10-20

The placement season starts in the period of may-june-july..the placement is my college is not good people get a package of 3 LPA and many doesn't even get that.there used to TCS and Accenture to be the mass recruiters but now they also don't come to our college to hier students/freshers ..the role of the placement committee is worst.
