The dedicated Training & Placement department at the university always takes care of the students’ needs by keeping an eye consideration upon from the very one first day of their academic calendar by providing various skills through the campus programs such as soft skills, PDs & GDs sessions, mock interview session, other needful classes related with the computer languages & training, etc. Almost all eligible students from different bachelor courses get placements from the institute. - Library: The library is the hub of academic student life on campus. Dr. C.V. Raman University houses a spacious library, stocked with more than 40,000 books, 5,000 titles, and thousands of CDs, journals, and reports. The CVRU library consists of a Central Library & separate Department Libraries to help students and faculties alike have easy access to the course and reference materials through a membership card.
- Hostel Facilities: The University provides separate accommodation for both boys and girls from outside Bilaspur. Mess facility is also available, where the student must submit his/her preferences for accommodation early in the process of admission. Currently, the hostel block houses more than 150 students. All hostels comprise of the main office, security room, and a guest house. The two boy’s blocks are called Tagore Block and Gandhi Block. Hostel fee costs INR 4500 per month.
- Medical Aid: on the campus, there is a student’s Health Care Centre. With a full-time Medical Superintendent and a team of qualified, efficient doctors who are always present in the healthcare center. CVRU also offers Health Insurance Policies for their students.
- Cafeteria: Dr. CV Raman University has two canteens: a cafeteria and a dining hall on the campus, where tea/coffee and various snack options are available. On the other hand, the canteen serves both veg and non-veg meals to their students/staff members.
