I liked the infrastructure and the greenry of this college and environment of study also.
Various events as the sports and cultural events are good.
Teacher is helpful and supportive at anytime we want.

I disliked the hostel and the mess of this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

For reason to choose this course was to get better skilled in this CSE field and exposure, I wanted to go through. Faculty members are good enough for the students, this college will not lead to a shortage of teachers. Qualification is good enough of the facilities all are their high degree.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 175000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college is very high around 175000 is of for 1 year which is expensive. Scholarships have such as merit-based scholarships, state government scholarships, central government scholarships etc.

Campus Life

Campus Life is good but in starting it feels awesome as we spend 1 year it feels okay okay. Not too much exciting. Celegance is the only fest of this college. The library is not too big as we think and the availability of the book is not also there at the time.

Admission

Through Jee mains exam and also from the ODJEE Entrance exam. The application form is free of cost No reservations availed yet. Better support could be done from the staff and better management could be done to improve the process of taking admission.

Life at GEC Raipur

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible to appear for campus placements which starts towards the end of their 7th semester. Companies that visited for Civil Engineering: L&T, Adani, Stratview Research, PlanetSpark and several local firms. The highest packages were offered by Adani (approx 7 LPA) and L&T (6-7 LPA). Around 5-7 students received placement offers from the mentioned companies. It is important to note that a lot many students did not sit for campus placements as they had different career aspirations (government jobs, higher education, business ventures etc.) My plans were to prepare for upcoming competitive government exams as well as try my hand at something different and creative

My College Review- insight from NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester, the placement starts. Till now around 30-40 snrs have placed. All the good snrs I know and have already been placed. Companies like- Caterpillar, Schneider Electric, JSL, JSPL, JWL, netarwala, Amazon, Dassault System, Reliance, phonepe, Deloitte, come to our college.

Yeah ,the course in terms of comprehensiveness is really satisfactory. I have some issues with sequence of subjects which are covered ,but there is no compromise with the comprehensiveness. So I would rate good that too .

NIT Raipur Review: Where knowledge meets real world engineering.

Placement Experience:

1. Students from seventt semester and onwards are eligible for the campus placements. 2. There are ample numbers of comapnies visited in our college like schneider electric, bpcl,bhel,bhel,reliance,catterpillar,eil, and so on. As per the last year data around 130 comapnies made in to our campus and they offered around 800 plus offers to various studenst of different departments. 3. The highets package offered this year is 60 lakhs that is offered by DE Shaw and average package is something around 11 laks per annum 4. Taking considerations of students of all departments, almost 70 percent students get placed. 5. Presently my plan after getting degree is to get into a job.

This course I think has a very bright future as the cheap making industry is everywhere and in futue AI will require physical component which will be full filled by this department so this will be fulfeeling the real word application however the course maybe more practical. More or less its like a school for 1st year students.

College is more like a school. You need to wear uniform anyhow,teachers are not friendly, more than technical the aproach here is academical,there is most chances that you will be debarred if you fail 75 attendace in each subject which means you will have to attend almost 95 percent to college working days. If you want to enjoy dont come here. This is very strict college. It takes fine for everything and will not allow you out of hostel after 6:30 leaving food time....Read More
