IIT Patna Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placement of CSE department is very good . And actually the average package is around 30 LPA and the median goes around 34 LPA. However there are no any batch placed yet from Data science and Artificial intelligence branch.

The 4 years B. Tech students becomes eligible from 7th semester for campus placement and dual degree students becomes elgible for campus placement from 9th semester. There are many companies that came to campus belonging to different fields like Tech, Core, Finances and management. Some of these companies are Google, Accenture, Qualcomm,Flipkart Honda, ONGC, DRDO, ISRO, BHEL, Indian Oil, L&T, etc. Number of offers vary from year to year. The average package in this time of recession is still greater than 20 LPA and around 65 % of student is placed in 24.In 22 and 23 it was around 90%.My plan is to take a job after getting my degree

Highest package was about 1.5 crore last year.and in my mechanical brach it was 54 lakhs per annum. Average of all branches is 20lakh per annum while for CSE is 36lakh per annum and for mechanical it is 17.5lakhs per annum.this year around 85 percent has placed but remaining will be placed soon.

Of course there is campus placement cell in the institute. They will guide you throughout the course . They have also arranged placement seminar for every semester. Well known mentors will be available with you to sharpen your skill for placement and internship purposes.

In our first year, we were taught about the basics of all the disciplines present in our college for real-world applications. We have mid-semester and end-semester exams for every semester. The teaching method help us learn more about the subject.

Because data science is future and in future even in present time data is everything right. So data analysis is the future may be present day mernstack full stack developers, where earning in crores like in Microsoft ,Google ,data scientist will earn in future the ai reveloution also impact me to choosing this field

Curriculum is also pretty good we regularly give quizzes and assignments which lead us to our own self improvement only also the curriculum is very niche upto date according to the industry requirements

Due to recession it is going low now but before that it was crazy. students from 3rd year ara eligible for campus placement. companies like Google, Microsoft, Uber, etc comes . T Last year highest package was 90,00,000 and about 90% in every branch were placed and my plan is also to take a job.

The campus placement is very good. The placements start from beginning of final year. Before it internships is being provided from first year. The highest package is 82 lacs and averege is 26 lacs. Approx 86 percent students paced from campus.

students are elegible for placement after 6th semester. Large no of companies visited the campus for placement drive. Avg package is 12 lakh and highest is 78 Lakh (til now). almost 90% of students getting placed .
