Reality of my college

Likes

Some teachers are quite good at teaching.
The campus is quite open and green and there are big fields.
Parking place is there for cars as well as bikes.

Dislikes

Some teachers are biased and they dont know how to teach.
The management discriminates on caste and prefers christians only
Swimming pool is available but never open and try to extort money in name of occasions

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quite good in most aspects ot teaches us excel and financial modelling taxation which is a very good skill but the tax papers are not yet evolved they are teaching VAT and CST to us in 2024

Placement Experience:

After clearing sem 5, students are eligible for campus placement . More than 10 companies came in which ITC Limites, VIVO, are also involved. Highest package was around 500000 and lowest 250000 Percentage of students getting placement was around 25. Get a placement and open doors of different industry.

It is almost good in according to my experience.

Likes

Ground facilities and all types of necessary items provided to students.
Every Saturday foundation and mentoring classes provide where students are free to share their problem and happiness in life.

Dislikes

Rule and regulation are stitched to follow.
Dress code are different from boys and girls.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are almost good because the different company are came like itc, Vivo, nbfc, icici insurance company and all. In the six semester we got the campus placement offer the 75% students are getting placement and me I get 2 company for placement.

College Life

Likes

The university and our college both are excellent in neatness.
The discipline plays a very vital role in our college as well as university.
The think i like the most is the professors their very cooperative and interactive.

Dislikes

The university takes more time to conduct our university exam .
The attendance remark that 75% is compulsory for college.
Most of the time are wasted in curricular activities only.

Placement Experience:

Yes our college provide a placement cell for the students the students who have got more than 7 CGPA they can only apply for the internship the college and students both plays important role for placement.

A Student's Perspective

Likes

Really helpful and friendly and always stood for us.
We were taken to industrial trap which was a great learning and also fun for us.
One of the thing I like most about my college is it keeps growing in terms of infrastructure

Dislikes

Most of the teachers showed favouriteism on different cases
The college sometimes took money unnecessarily from students
There were less seminars conducted for our future career.

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me I will read the course curriculum 7 out of 10. The main reason being less practical knowledge in comparison to theory. And in today's fast growing business world the more practically evolved we are takes us to a greater height than in theory level knowledge. And my perspective there were less specified subjects which would help us for the end doing masters or PGDM.

Life at ISM

Likes

Facilities of our college is simply very supportive and motivating
Many sports activities are organised by college also many fest and party organised so that students get more involved in it .
College campus is quite big infrastructure of college is also very brilliant

Dislikes

Mainly the college is very strict for their rules and regulations
Lift facilities is not provided by our college that makes a little bit of difficulty
Mess food is not so good if you are hostlers it may get difficulties

Insightful Internship: Navigating Finance at a CA Firm

Likes

College campus is good campus is very spacious.
Faculties are highly educated and their teaching skills are good.
College is giving placement with their average to good LPA

Dislikes

Fined high amount of money for attendance.
College management is not so good. As compared to college.
Classes taken for very long time for ug and pg courses it take 6 to 7 hours.

The course of bcom professional help to increase the business potential or financial analyst, accountancy of the students. This is a 3 years of course in which are there are semester per year and exams are based on semesters. Faculty is good and supportive. It also motivate us for setups own business and finance related knowledge. In the bcom professional courses there must be needed some practical knowledge and finance related knowledge with in the finance world.

Likes

I liked college campus because it was very spacious and the environment was so clean and fresh.
Extra curricular activities like singing.
Social work like distributing clothes and food to poor people.

Dislikes

Rules and regulations. There was no Discipline.

Placement Experience:

Hardly 50% of the students were able to get campus placements. It was difficult for them. Students because they lacked corporate values and etiquette which is essential for working in a corporate. I will be going for my master's. MBA
