- The faculty members of our department are very helpful and all are experienced teachers and their teaching methods are also good.
- The campus of the university is very beautiful and calm.
- Hostel facilities are also very good, the hostel infrastructures are very good and the hygiene is also well maintained in the hostels .
Dislikes
- The over stress because of the exam pattern
- Even though the university excells in academic excellence but the pressure is too much high. More extra curricular activities may nitiated.
- Not much funded nternships are provided by the University or departments.

I choose MBBT which stands for molecular biology and biotechnology, the labs are good, they have almost all the things.
There are 4 exam in one semester, 1st sessional, mid term, 2nd sessional and end term

- The environment there is quite good for learning.
- The library there is filled with all the books, journals and research articles one could ask for.
Dislikes
- Navigating through the administration could be time consuming sometime
- It would be good if the increase the number of the buses
- It would be good if the gym gets a little bigger
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is quite relevent and all though there are quite a deal to learn but our instructors have made it quite easy for us to absorb. The curriculum is not just about sciences but it also focus on building real world skills.

- The campus of the university is quite good, every department has there own infrastructure and everything is in a organised way
- The university provides a lot of exposure in different fields for the students through workshops, internships,seminars and much more
- The availability of different lab equipment and lab assistant that help in assisting different experiments is quite helpful
Dislikes
- There aren't a lot of subjects in the school of Social sciences
- The semesters are packed with exams every month it gets a little hectic for the students
- The food of the hostel mess could be improved, I don't think it provides enough nutrition for the students needs
Course Curriculum Overview:
The courses are quite good here but the relevance of the lab experiments with the topics of the course has a stark difference.
Assessment and evaluation of the curriculum could be improved.
More objective exam should be taken, and the interval between two sessional exams should be reasonable, exams shouldn't be a burden to students.
And the students should be provided with proper study materials for the topics being taught in the classroom

Course Curriculum Overview:
Course Curriculum is a bit hectic but one of the best for overall development. One has to study Chemistry and Maths till the 3rd semester along with Major Subjects. So they get knowledge of all the basic science subjects apart from their Major subjects.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose the course Integrated M.Sc. in Physics. It is a 5 years course and after the completion of this course, you will be a postgraduate student in the respective subject. So, it takes less time for completion as compared to 3 year Bachelor degree course+ 2 year Master degree course. Also, I have an extra passion for the field of Physics as it deals with natural science and different natural aspects along with its scientific explanations.
All the faculties are PhD holder and the teaching method as far as I experience is brilliant. Though in the online mode they are trying to teach us as much better as they can.
Exams are held after approx. one month of interval. There are 4 exams in each semester. The First 3 are sessional and the 4th one is the end term exam. The more you put the effort into learning and in preparation the easy you will get the exam.

World ranking University with best academic facilities. Well experienced teachers, it gives importance to co curricular activities as well, supportive faculties, good hostel facilities. Both material and human resources are available. The.campus is safe and secure.

Remarks:
The academics and operation of the instution is good and the social life in the campus is very nice. The employees in the administration office must be more helpful. Some of them are unbearable. The feedback process in the Institution must change. It is just taken for the sake of naac accreditation because there are no relevant changes after the feedback process.

One of my friends attended Tezpur University. His experience with the university has not been good. Here are some of the things that she shared with me.
- The administration there is headed by only one person and the VC is not cooperative.
- You will get in trouble if any of your batch mates get involved in any misbehavior.
- Attending classes there is very important and otherwise, you may not be allowed to do your internships.
- The library is inadequate. The wifi facility on campus is also not that good.
- The placement record of the institute is average. The average CTC offered at the recent placement drive was 3.5 LPA.
So, if you have other better options go for it.

What is your review of mechanical engineering department, Tezpur University?

One of my friends studied Mechanical at Tezpur University. Let me share his experiences and knowledge about the college. He, being a student there, will know the intricacies of the college and how they function.
- Faculty: The mechanical department hosts a really good faculty. Most of them are good at teaching and all of them have a great research-oriented mindset.
- Projects: About 80% of the projects are based on numerical simulations. These include optimization, analysis, modeling, developing CFD solvers, Comsol modeling and the rest are mainly experimental.
- Specialization: The department mainly started its M.Tech course in 2013 with a specialization in Applied mechanics. The Thermal and Fluid Engineering specialization began in 2016 and from 2018 onwards, another specialization in Machine Design was also started. The department is definitely growing with time.

Overall, the mechanical department at Tezpur University is not as good as IITs but it is much better than many private as well as newly built NITs in the country.
