- The teachers are friendly with the students and i have the best learning experience in there.
- The facilities gauhati university is providing and the infrastructure. teachers try to provide as much information as they can. the campus is so peaceful. hostels facilities are so good. gauhati university provides good health and medical facilities

- There was no entrance exam for us, it was online registration and merit list was provided, there was no entrance exam for us.
- Some teacher are very good and some are so bad in behavior and teaching so i dislike some teachers.
- Teachers are not good in teaching they are also bad behavior.

- The faculty members are very friendly sometimes.
- The canteen is good with affordable price and hygiene food.
- College fest are very interesting and enjoyable where both teachers and students take part.
Dislikes
- The washroom which are available in our college are very dirty and the smell stinks a lot, students cannot even use there washroom without covering there nose. But the teachers have there own washroom in their cabins which are clean and hygiene.
- Sometimes students get rudely behaved even if they don't have not done any issue to get scold by
- The teachers even collect fund from the students just to provide farewell to one of the senior batches.

Nothing influenced my decision to choose this course. I just wanted to choose this course for fun, to be honest.
the curriculum rarely prepares us for real-world applications or further academic pursuits but whenever it does it would be very beneficial for the students.
Held frequent inspections in the college so that they can improve themselves and the teaching method should be in a friendly and more comprehensive way.
The exam timings are perfect along with the perspective of their difficulty level.

- The teaching staff is great and humble every department has their own department head known as HOD
- One should peruse b.com major in commerce, geography departmentetc

- Environment: The college environment is decent and maintained
- Teacher- student interaction is well maintained .
- Faculty and teachers are Friendly and supportive.
Dislikes
- Whole Course / syllabus is not covered due to insufficiency of time
- Sometimes faculty can be rude and inapproachable.
- During flood it becomes difficult for students to travel to and fro college
Course Curriculum Overview:
This college has decent and qualified faculty for commerce and hence my decision for choosing this college as well as this course .
This college prepares you with real life knowledge about the commercial sector and assists with future academic courses.
The teaching methods can be better for ensuring better teacher student interaction.
Each semester is of 4 months in total and exams are held every 4-6 months . Exams are sometimes okay and sometimes difficult.

- I like how the teachers are so helpful in our studies
- The faculty is very understandable in regards to attendence
- Our college arranged events in intervals which creates a good environment

- The course is really outdated and we need practical experience
- We have really less experience and need internship facility
- We need placement opportunities from our college

Our course is good but we have really less practical experience.most of the students just learn theory and pass we don't have any real life experience which prepares us for the real world so we are lacking there and we need improvement in that field

- Overall college is very good but only need improvement in Field. Field is not in a good condition
- Campus is good, we have both boys and girls hostel and most of the students are free and frank
- Culturally Gauhati Commerce College is very active
Course Curriculum Overview:
1) I was motivated from my parents, they prefers me to choose Bcom course.
2) In 12th standard- Their capacity is 800 seats and for Bcom , faculty provides 1100 seats...
3) College faculty is really helpful and most of the teachers are friendly and Graduated... They are experienced professor's...
4) Bcom have two exams per semester... In 1st semester,our classes starts from August and sessional exam starts in September last... And in November last,or December first week, final exams starts..

- Being a established college it gives it's student a trade mark on their resume ,which is really helpful within Northeast India.
- The faculty are well trained with years of expertise in their field ,these helps to build a strong academic concept especially in accounting .
- Our college regularly hosts various entrepreneurship boosting events such as shark pups .These helps in cultivating future entrepreneurs
Dislikes
- There is for sure a lack of good ,professional outdoor and indoor sports facility
- The building of the campus needs more renovation and integrate modern electronic methods of teaching in every classrooms
- The toilets are not clean in the ground floor of every buildings ,and a proper water filter facility is also missing .
Course Curriculum Overview:
I was always sure to choose b.com after my 12th as i was intersted in accounts .The course cirriclum specially for accounnting and ecnomics is upto date and is really relevant for the current world ,questions regarding real world examples are integrated and that makes in relevant.
I think the course should add vocational skill developpment programs to make the students more well equiped for the future.
The frequency and timing is same form all the semster and the diffuculty is moderately difficult to slighlty difficult

- The college ambience is very welcoming and it creates a peaceful environment for the students.
- The students are friendly and the quality of my social interaction is quite good with people.
- The college events that they organise are very joyous. And the quality and standard of the events are upto the mark.
Dislikes
- The faculty's expertise, teaching methods and mentorship quality is very poor. The teachers are very rude and they do not pay much attention to the students.
- There is no effectiveness of the placement services and the support provided for career advancement.
- The quality of the infrastructure is quite weak including campus amenities and learning facilities.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I don't have any issue in the overall curriculum. I just wanted to have a bcom degree and thus I chose this course. The curriculum prepares us for interacting with people, gives us knowledge and training as of how to work in an environment and also prepares us for other career development courses or other competitive courses. The course needs to improve more in the practical training aspect and teachers need to teach in a manner that will benefit the students in both practical and theoretical field. The timing of exams is either in the morning or in the afternoon. The frequency is okay according to me in perspective on their difficulty level.

- The things the liked the most is the discipline curriculum of the teachers and the management.
- And also the washroom s are mostly clean.and The playing ground provides a field for many sports.
- Although the classroom s are clean but it can be better.
Dislikes
- Not much facilities for handicapped students.
- The girl to boy ratio is quite equivalent
- The canteen is much costly.Not affordable for students belonging to bpl.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The bcom course is a good way to start your carrier thats why i coosed this cource.
This curriculum prepares me for the marketing world and to prepare me for the world of economics.
The areas for improvement are in the maths curriculum and method of teaching can be improved.
The exam timing is twice a year and it is not much difficult

One of my friends graduated from Gauhati University. According to her, it’s a decent university.
Faculty: The faculties are dedicated. They may seem strict at first, but you can approach them, regarding your problems.
Curriculum: The course curriculum is up-to-date. You can even follow the syllabus for various entrance tests.
Classes: Classes are held regularly. The institute is also strict regarding attendance.
Co-curricular: Different co-curricular activities are held around the academic year.
The environment on campus is great for studies. The university has been accredited with NAAC A grade. Overall it can be a great place to pursue your studies.
