Course Curriculum Overview:

From my childhood I love the Sanskrit language, therefore It was my aim to Postgraduate in Sanskrit. So I want to do my Master's. And the reason behind admission to Assam University is that it is a Central University of Assam. And at the time of my graduation, my teachers said that the faculty of the Sanskrit department is too Good. There are 35 seats each semester, and 6 teachers in the department. 4 of them were Regular and 2 guest faculties. Therefore the ratio of teacher and students is 6:35. The Qualifications of teachers are very appreciated, The HoD of the department is Prof. Snigdha Das Roy, MA, MPhil, Ph.D., and other faculties were atleast have done Ph.D. degrees from recognized universities. So their teaching methods are too good. They can do their best to teach us. Teachers in our department are like a friend, philosophers, and guides. That's why the students will develop by all rounds. Every semester has 3 term exams and assignments, seminars too.30% of final exams come from these.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course as I got a Bachelor degree from Sanskrit from JB college, Jorhat. And applied for MA in Cotton University and Assam University. I cracked both the exams but opted Assam University for its natural beauty and hilly surroundings. Plus the faculty . And the alumni's attracted me and the scope for future research program is also great. The ratio of faculty: students is 1:10 including PHD scholars. All the faculty members are having more than 10 years of experience in Assam University itself. All of them are Dr. Degree holders and exceeded the professor rank and got reader or other equivalent ranks. The teaching method is very much sophisticated in terms of understanding . Every paragraph is broken to sentences. Sentences into words words into letters. This is the way we are taught. The term exams are timely but COVID 19 hindered it hard. Now they are going on timely. If the classes and courses taught managed well it is more than enough to pass .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to do master's in Sanskrit in Veda, Here the department is too good that's reasons I choosed this University. THERE ARE 4 regular/permanent teachers in our department and also 2 guast teachers. There are 35 seats in per semester. Therefore the ratio of students and teachers will be 6:35 but only 10 students have admitted out semester, therefore the ratio of students and teachers 3:5. Every semesters in our department, there are helds 3 internal examinations and a final examination. Each of internal exams is 20 marks and 5 papers in every semester. In every semester we have to submit 5 home assignments and seminars and viva helds on each papers. As Master's level exam is obviously hard and Every teachers gives us the valuable teaching. We always have learnt many new things from our respected Teachers . They teaches us all the things we should learnt in Master's level. If you always follow the words of teachers and study the whole syllabus than you easily passed the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mass Communication and Journalism is a course that allows you to experience the media industry and communication theories. With these, you can be a good communicator and be industry-ready. The faculty is good and help the student to gain practical skills. We have more girls in our course than boys. Assam University is a prestigious University and one of the top Institutes in India. The teachers are also very supportive here. Teaching is done through digital and interactive methods rather than traditional methods. Exams are held on time and are not very difficult to pass but are at the top you need to put in extra hard work because teachers are highly qualified and experienced.
