Review of B.pharm dept (Assam university )

Likes

It got a vast campus with many departments and proper infrastructure
The campus is surrounded by trees and forest which have a varities of flora and fauna
Campus life is really good in university with proper placement and also there are lots of fests

Dislikes

There is delays in result publication and campus has lots of snakes.
The department in which i studied has no proper infrastructure and no proper equipment for experiments .

Internships Opportunities:

There is one mandatory internship during 3rd year which you must complete . There is no stipend generally. Many students go to himachal , kolkata, sikkim, Guwahati for their internship. The duration of the internship is 150 hours

Likes

The faculty is really good .I really like the campus environment.
The teachers are so good and they are very hardworking.The teach us in various ways such as sometimes with ppt , sometimes in board and sometimes they just discuss it so well for us to understand easily.
The infrastructure needs to be developed as we pay so much for the entire year we deserve to have a nice department.

Dislikes

The drinking water supply should be provided in more areas.
The infrastructure needs to be developed.

Internships Opportunities:

I don't have any idea about the stipend as I am in the 5th semester,the internships starts after 7th semester But according to seniors there is no stipend during internships we have to go by our own for about a month.

Likes

Bcom department teachers are very cooperative, understanding, and very skillful while teaching
College campus is usually clean and well maintained
Certain programs and festivals are organised by the college every year

Dislikes

There is a crowd while submission of collection of fees or any documents in the counters.
Like in any other colleges in silchar, practical classes and submission of practical copies of HS students are done just 1-2 weeks before their exam.

Internships Opportunities:

College staff usually send various intership opportunities for the students which will be helpful to them. Although I have not applied to any.The links are circulated among students and they may do their interships.

Likes

All departments teachers provides all the required and updated knowledge and study stuffs to the students
College faculty is really great, as they conduct different events and sports for the students
The friendly empowering environment of the college

Dislikes

Tecnology often not working right and it should be improved
The college should improve and provide avg packages
The college should improve their lectures it's seems so boring

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester itself students are eligible for campus placement but the placement is not guaranteed, companies like icici bank, axis bank and bandhan bank visted in college, the highest package is 12lpa while the lowest is 3lpa , 95% students got placement as the college claimed but it's not guaranteed , after degree I m planning for mba

Assam university campus.

Likes

Bus service provided by the university to large distances.
Extra time that i get during the semesters and 2 month vacation in the month of june and october.
Developing infrastructure is good because development is going on.

Dislikes

Food of hostels is not good. It does not have any type of taste .
The animals that is found in the campus like python and leopard.
Topography because very slooping campus.

Placement Experience:

Students get placement but in small amount .many students gets off campus placement also and sone also give gate exams for their future career option. The company visited are mahindra, tata etc. The highest placement of this university is 40 lpa.

Friendly environment of the college administration and students,staff and teacher
Greenary and silence that ensures a calm and productive environment

The administration could have been better
The way of conducting classes could have been improved

From the final semester the students become elegible for campus placement, till now as per my knowledge the average package offered to students is 2.5-3lpa. almost more than 70% of the students get placement

The golden days of my life

Likes

The college environmental very clean and there is no bad culture in the student that is ragging and another bad habit.
The college is fully friendly with their student the college always thought about the student and their problem.
The college took unit test in every month which is very helpful for a student for their upcoming examination.

Dislikes

In cachar college there is fight between student and student very frequently .
The college kept lot of seat reserve for the student of sc and st. which make tough challenges for the general caste student
The premises of the college is not so clean.

Internships Opportunities:

The internship opportunity provided by the college is very good and the student whose have more than 70% mark in every semester there can get internship opportunity the internship opportunity is very popular in the college because most student have 70% marks in every semester.

The campus is much big, the scenerey is too preety
Health care, gym center ,library are all free
The university is full of greenary and natural embances

Dislikes

Bus service is not good at all. Sometimes the bus shedule changes frequently
Smart board is not avavilable in some departments
Wild Monkey romes in the university campus

Gc the best college of silchar

Likes

The overall experience of gc college is more better than my expectations..all the teachers are very polite, friendly and helpful.
Although my fellow classmates are also very good in all cases.
The lectures and notes are very well that I don't need any private tuition.

Dislikes

The washrooms are not that much clean to use.
Some of the classrooms have less number of fans which create trouble in summer
Lack o dsm classes and also we didn't get proper notes o dsm subjects

Internships Opportunities:

Didn't know more about the internship as now I just completed my 1st sem....but some of my friends from commerce are doing their internship after 12th grade but I'm not doing as i know to complete my 6th sem for any internship

An In-Depth review of Assam University Silchar.

Likes

The tranquil atmosphere makes it an ideal place for academic pursuits and personal growth.
Assam University offers a wide array of programs across humnaities, science, management and social studies.
The university attracts students from diverse ethnic, linguistic and cultural backgrounds fostering an inclusive and vibrant community.

Dislikes

Although university offers a range of programs, placement opportunities especially in non-technical fields are often limited.
Although the university provides internet facility, the connectivity and speed often do not meet the demand of the students.
While the hostels are adequate , overcrowding, maintenance issues, and limited amenities.

Internships Opportunities:

There are various internship opportunities available for the students by the university. The Law Commission of India, AMUL in Gujarat, and other internship opportunities for the students of technology field. There is sports complex under construction and there is also a football ground and basketball and volleyball courts available for the sports enthusiasts students.
