- I love the teaching of the teacher, they are very good.
- There are different scholarship plans like nsp, students aids fund, etc., and also on-campus jobs with suitable stipends.
- The library is good the only thing which attracts me and all my friends.
Dislikes
- Far as i know, the placements are not very good in this university.
- Timetable was overwhelming. timing of the classes were exhausting such that you won't get enough time for finishing home assignments even.
- The roi is very poor as placement scenarios is negligible.

- The college atmosphere and staff the way their behaviour and they communicate very well in hindi english and local language
- The teacher are way better then the any other colleges the way explain is way better than the private colleges professors they are the best
- The maintenance and the student union is top notch they always help if anything happens they are always ready to help you no matter what the situation is
Dislikes
- the things i didn’t like about the college is that some of the classrooms are not well
- sometimes the boys washroom is not cleaned
- There is a rumour about the college if you seat under a tree you will have backlog
Placement Experience:
In semester 5th. the students are eligible for placement and internships.
I didn't know the names because i didn't apply for sny of them.
around 4.5. lakh average.
45% percentage of students are getting placed.

- The only thing I liked about the uni is that it has a lot of vacations to offer. Specifically if you're in Btech.
- The library is good. It has a lot of books. If you're interested in studies then you can opt for study in library
- They provide buses time to time to go to college
Dislikes
- No hostels for freshers, sometimes not for 2nd year too. You must have a network to get hostel in 2nd year and in first year you've to forget about hostel life and have to live in and as a paying guest or in rent.
- If you get hostel, there are lots of chances that you would've to share your room with others
- And the communication is although not a problem but some drops of rain causes flood in the city and main hilly areas where the transportation happens. For this trains and flights couldn't go to thier destination and therefore they got cancelled.
Placement Experience:
Generally the placement occurs on 4th year. And as per my knowledge only 4th year students can sit for placements. Although placements are not good in the university but you've to be skilled enough to land a 4lpa job among your classmates as less than 50% of your batch will get placed through campus.

- Teachers and other staff are really good
- The campus is huge for cultural activities

- The class rooms are not as big even the hall room too
- Library and lab are not properly organized
- Exam schedule of each unit test are conducted very early
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum or the course we are pursuing depends upon our marks even the professor guides us well too. The practicals really help us even the explanations to help us for further academic pursuit. The improvement should be done mostly in practical classes. The timing of the examination is too early

- This is the only college in silchar that offer computer science courses
- The campus is quite good it gives natural vibe always
- The faculty is quite good and the fees is quite reasonable
Dislikes
- Placement record is not so good here . You can apply here if you want to higher education
- Internship is not there they must include internships for students
- Library is not so big to study they must build a big library
Placement Experience:
In last semester that is the sixth semester you can go and be placed for campus placement.
Because it is an affiliated college of Assam University, so there is quite a few companies came here, but the companies are quite good. Such good IT companies came here such as Deloitte. Wipro, etc.
The average package is like 3.2,00,00 per annum and the highest package is like six or seven lakh.
Percentage of student getting placement is low because this is an affiliated college, so you have to go to the University for placement.
Frankly, this college is not for placement. This college is for higher education. If you want to go for higher education, then you can consider this college.

- Great ambience, Good infrastructure with Smart board and Ac feature in the class
- Spacious cafeteria with variety of soft drinks, snacks,chips, chocolates and biscuits. Students can also opt out for meals like pulao, parantha etc
- Huge field available for sports, beautiful plants with blooming flowers in the department area.
Dislikes
- The labs are sheer disappointment as there is no proper care of the chemicals, the exhaust works slowly.
- There is no assurance of getting desired chemicals as they mostly run out of use.
- The water taps do not work properly,there is great difficulty in getting water in the lab. Although there are taps outside for drinking purpose.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Chemistry being a pretty tough subject took my attention to compete in real world. Also, the fees of this course is quite pocket friendly as it's only 5.5k/semester.
The curriculum prepares us for real world applications by organising certain programmes in the conference hall, with chief guests who are alumni of this Department and are currently doing great worldwide.They also give us the chance to interact and ask any questions regarding the real world.
Certain improvements that this dept needs is the proper maintenance of lab, decent physical chemistry teachers, and proper care of chemicals.
The exam timings are quite hectic as they conduct final exams quite earlier than the actual Semester ending and we particularly get 3months in total.

- The Assam University campus is quite large and has big big buildings for every departments. Buses are there for transportation facility and also these buses helps the students to travel to different areas within the campus.
- The Assam University campus is very beautiful in terms of environment and it's pollution free. The campus has many cafeteria where students can have their lunch and snacks. Apart from that the nearby areas are also very good.
- The people and faculty members are very helpful and supportive in every ways. They help us in all ways be it regarding studies or any other queries, they always try to help the students by giving them suitable solutions.
Dislikes
- The bus timing is very inappropriate as the buses only run between the morning shift and evening shift. There are no bus facility in between these two shifts. So these should be improved for better facilities.
- Result of every semester comes very late, so students mainly of final year suffer a lot due to late results which leads to delay in their future admissions and plans to other colleges. So this problem should be solved quickly.
- The roads nearby the campus area is in very bad condition and due to which many accidents occurred. So this bad condition of road should be encountered quickly.
Placement Experience:
The placements are okay okay. Not very good companies come to recruit students of final year. Only MBA students get a high package salary in a good company. Other departments don't get these much of placements as compared to MBA.

- Campus is very greenery.The weather is very good infrastructure is ok but the community of University is excellent.
- The canteen management is good in every dept. We get atleast 2 or 3 canteens which all of them provides good quality of food
Dislikes
- The things about most of the people dislike is the transport management. There are not enough buses for all the students of University.

The course I am doing is a professional course. We get to teach the juniors to get experienced. After completing the course we get to teach secondary level o physics to the students. The Assam University education department is a very good place for becoming a teacher

- Delayed in exam and any other thing overall there are good

There are not good placement the company are not come for placement some company are come but for sale and NGO work etc but IT companies also come but not good package given to students there are maximum 4 lack package
