The tution fees is one of the highlights of the college. Here, the tution fees is very low compared to other colleges. There is less hike in course fees and has neither any hike policies. You can complete your degree in around 2-2.5 lacs. The college also provides varoius government scholarships for needy ones. There is less scope of campus employment.

My experience at Assam University Silchar as a CSE student.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee structure is around 56k per year. There are scholarship opportunities for SC/ST and EWS students. The placement isn't good at all. Companies keep on holding back from hiring students. Overall, the fee structure is reasonable considering that it is a central university, but, the facilities provided to the students are really low.

Admission fees for one year is between 60000 to 70000 and examination fees is near about Rs 1200-1500 for one semester and for backlogs per subject would cost near about 200 Rs.Many high paying scholarships are available like Ishan uday by UGC, ONGC scholarship,etc.If someone has financial issues they can opt for education loan too.
