This is affordable to us...and if we got better marks then u will get a good scholarship and it's easy to study in some good colleges like bits plani and its.
The students are eligible for placement after the 6th semester and various companies like wipro,tcs,amazon,etc visit our campus for placements and we get a good percentage for placements with a good package.
Very good faculty, they professors are very cooperative. they help us in every aspect and they have very good knowledge on that subject.

Dislikes

Placements are very bad in our college. the students are not getting hired by top mcs companies
The paper required for the admission process is not kept securely i thought.
No wifi in the hostel which is a very annoying thing.

Silicon University Bhubaneswar Review

This university is something were you will be facing real challenges while studying for semester exams, because exams are conducted in a very strict manner as well as there is no chance of any malpractice. Nice place.
A great place for excelling yourself academically and very good study environment and helpful faculties.
There is good AC gym and sports complex, library for good study environment.

Dislikes

The classes are little bit hectic and there is strict attendance policy.
The mess food is average specially mondays and thursday. But overall fine.
The campus is smaller in area as compared to other university and college.

Placement Experience:

There is about 83% students get placed and other opt for masters or do startups. The highest package in this year was 28 LPA and average package is around 5.68 LPA . There were 80 recruiters and 805 job offers and 246 internship offers.

the things that i liked the most in silicon university is the course curriculum is well structured which helps the students in their academics .
the university also helps in boosting students skills in various fields by providing exposure to different tech fields.
student mentors and guides would be present which helps a student in their college journey.

Dislikes

the campus is quite small and there is no amazing campus life.

Placement Experience:

from the end of 3rd year onwards the students are getting their pre placement offers. there are a numerous companies that visit the campus .this year the highest package of the college is 20 lpa and the average package is around 6 lpa.

It's education facilities are absolutely great.
Faculties are well mannered and students friendly.
Proper discipline and as well as professional manner should be under the campus

Dislikes

Campus is quite small . It can be more enhanced
There must be an arrangement of student study trip for better views and knowledge atleast once in a year
Also can improved the exams facilities at any way..

Placement Experience:

After the 2nd semester students are eligible for campus placements as the intership courses are provided by the college itself for that we get some knowledge about intership and placements.lots of companies visited like tata, infocity, cognizant, Accenture, Capgemini, tpcodl,etc.highest average package is nearly 30-40lpa.99% of students are getting placements..my plan is same

The pros and cons of my college

Likes

Sincere and concerned professers who always help the students
The campus is always clean and clean and waste management is very good
The plants around the campus provide a soothing environment

Dislikes

The classrooms are very much uncomfortable to sit in the summers.
Not enough AC classes the campus must provide more AC classes
There is only one hostel for girls which is very clumsy and also the AC rooms are not sufficient

Placement Experience:

The placements are pretty decent in our college.This year however the recession has caused a bit problem in securing the placements but it's going to be ok in the coming years otherwise the placements are decent.

Silicon University review

Likes

Academics wish Silicon is one of the best university and Placement percentage is quite good according to the money you invested.
Teachers are friendly, one can contact any teacher for any help despite of branch they are and branch's Professor.
Silicon University is located in hot area, every thing will be available around 1km range starting from food to clothes to minimum to minimum required

Dislikes

The campus life isn't good. You will find very small campus area. You will not be able to enter into grounds without the permission of authority.
Many classroom of ECE n EEE building don't have AC's. Though every classrooms are re innovating slowly, still it's quite very hot in summer season.
Food is not so good. You will find Canteen food to be average and Cafeteria food to be just ok. Localities are not allowed to hostel legally.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is good and more better than many of the colleges in Bhubaneswar. Companies like Wipro, Infosys,TCS , cognizant, Accenture, HCl, Deloitte, PWC, IBM, Harbour technology, etc. Fir core branch like ECE and EEE microtex, harvel, Bajaj, tech Mahindra, tata power, jsw, etc. Highest package is 40Lpa for software developer and average package is 5-6 lpa. My plan to opt for core companies and get hired.

The college experience has been enriching in many ways, but there are a couple of areas that significantly impact student life and could benefit from improvement: the lack of WiFi in the hostel and the small campus size.

Course Curriculum Overview:

While the course content itself is interesting and well-taught, it often feels unrelated to the core subjects and skills we need for our primary academic and career goals.The relevance of the course material to our major seems limited.

silicon university - the knowns and unknowns

Likes

the faculties are very much experienced in the subjects they teach
seniors are interactive and cooperative with the juniors
the skylab is good place to spend quality time

Dislikes

small campus of just eighteen acres of area
less importance and placement of eie branch
water and electricity issues in the hostel

Placement Experience:

campus placement is offered to the students with accenture, wipro and tata power being the mass recruiters. the students with 8.5 cgpa and above are eleigible for campus placements which normally happen in the months of january to may.

SILICON - BEYOND TEACHING

The administration of silicon University is up to the mark
We have seperate examination halls for semester exams
Practice school program for training purposes before placement

Dislikes

Campus is too small and no proper cricket ground
No proper sports facilities in the university
Only some of the classroom are having ac

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario are quite good can be said average. Average placement in 2023 is around 5.6 lakhs and highest was around 28LPA. Around 30-35 students got more than 10 LPA packages . Students get a internship amount of 10-15 k per month

The strictness, punctuality of the college
Campus life is good especially the hostel life though I am not an hostellite

Dislikes

Campus is not so big it's around 25 acre only
On working day's you cannot go out of the campus after 7 pm
Some professor are like school teacher's

From 7 semester you are eligible for campus placement. Around 80%+ students got placed every year. Deloitte, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini,mindtree, Amazon this are some companies that comes in this college. Highest package till now is 33 lpa and average is 5.8 lpa

good infrastructure, supportive faculty, professors are good enough, canteen faciality are good, good engagement towards natural infrastructure, having multiple wifi accessible places, hand in hand with clubs and sports

Dislikes

bad canteen food, academic help is not good, bad hostel condition, worst classrooms without ac, management of canteen and cafe is not good, accounting section and exam conducting is not good, excess health issues due to canteen food,

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester you are eligible for the placement.There are total 110 visited to our campus previous year and they are pretty decent here.Highest package are 22 lpa.lowest lpa is 4.5 lpa.90 percent is placement ratio.
