SILICON BHAIYA

i have been enrolled in the computer science and engineering branch in the silicon university. Well in the first year irrespective of any branch every student has the same branch.Then from the second year onwards the students have their class according to their respective branches. This makes the curriculum student friendly and also my decision to choose this branch is that today is the world where each and every activity goes hand in hand with the technology.So,to contribute and learn this world full of tech i have opted this branch. The exams are quite strict in the college and there are about 4-5 invigilators in the room which checks in addition to cameras.

at the end of the first year the college provides summer internship for the student in various tech fields where student with their wish can opt to their domain.Students learn how actually the industry works and try to work and learn from the experienced engineers.

from the end of 3rd year onwards the students are getting their pre placement offers. there are a numerous companies that visit the campus .this year the highest package of the college is 20 lpa and the average package is around 6 lpa.

the course fees for the cse curriculum is about 170000 per year.In addition to that the the college also charge 20000 for examination fees.There are no such scholarships in the college but during the councelling time there is a category known as the tuition fee waiver category in which those students whose annual family income is less than 8 lakhs those can apply for this category and get some aid in their tuition fees.

there are numerous clubs in the college where students can upgrade a new skill in their domain .The college has an annual cultural fest known as zygon and a technical fest known as nirman which is conducted every year. The campus has 2 basketball courts,1 volley ball court,2 badminton courts,1 football field,1 cricket nets attached to the ground.

there are 2 boys hostels and 1 girls hostel.Every facility is maintained in the hostel except the wifi.There is no wifi in the college.The mess food is good and there are 3 canteens for the student and one guest canteen. Also there is a cafeteria where student get good quality food .

the admission in the college is done through the ojee councelling which both the jee main marks and the ojee marks. there is no such cutoff as since the student who would come in the merit list in the councelling process they would get enrolled.There are also seats reseved for sc,st ews category students.

the college has a good student to teacher ratio which helps the students to get exposure to their very teacher whom they find they would understand better. all the faculty members are qualified teachers and they teach well in classroom. also the interaction between the teacher and student is very good which is a very good sign in the learning process.
