It's education facilities are absolutely great.
Faculties are well mannered and students friendly.
Proper discipline and as well as professional manner should be under the campus

Dislikes

Campus is quite small . It can be more enhanced
There must be an arrangement of student study trip for better views and knowledge atleast once in a year
Also can improved the exams facilities at any way..

Course Curriculum Overview

It is quite good but it can be more good according to me the change must be done but not that much of change its need because already there are lots of facilities are given under the campus..exam timing are very good

Intership are available after every single year like after two semesters..others knowledge are given lots of things are gained by us...it's a very good process given by the silicon University I am glad to share my experience

After the 2nd semester students are eligible for campus placements as the intership courses are provided by the college itself for that we get some knowledge about intership and placements.lots of companies visited like tata, infocity, cognizant, Accenture, Capgemini, tpcodl,etc.highest average package is nearly 30-40lpa.99% of students are getting placements..my plan is same

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fees of the silicon University is quite normal as compared to other universities and the fees is also worth it because lots of options are given by the campus as like we can use any study material or books from library of the college.. remedial classes also done for more understanding

Campus Life

There. Are feast are held in our campus like one of that is abih feast of two days it's ZYGON.lots of enjoyment and prizes are be distributed..dance and songs are held..dramas are done and lots of things happened.

Admission

The admission can be done under the process of counciling according to your 10th and 12th percentage and your jee mark your counciling should be done then your appropriate branches are provided..and the admission process are quite easy

In silicon University the faculties are great and experienced..they will make you understand the topic so easily..you will definitely approve the knowledge from them they will make you comfortable for asking any doubt or queries regarding the subjects

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Honest and Genuine review of NIT Rourkela

Placement Experience:

So the students become eligible for placemant usually from the 7th semester of the Btech which is from the 4th year and the internship opportunities are available from the 3rd year onwards that is from 5th and 6th semester. So in year 2024-25 the number of companies that visited The campus is around 330 And the total job offers offered is about 1200. So the highest package in the EC branch is about 1.2 crore per annum and the average package for the EC branch is around 13 to 14 lakhs. And the Profile of jobs are core electronics, VLSI and semiconductor roles ,system and embedded developments, software engineering, IT services, consulting and analytics. The percentage of student which are getting placed are in the range of 90 to 99% for ECE branch. The top recruiters are Apple Google, Microsoft, Amazon, wipro, Deloitte, Tata,Vedanta etc. After completing my degree in ECE from NIT Rourkela my plan is to join the core technology sector as a VLSI and semiconductor engineer in a reputed multinational Companies, leveraging the strong foundation and industrial exposure gained during my studies in case I do not secure a campus placement I aim to pursue the off campus opportunities in electronics, IT or analytics sectors. Alternatively I am open to perceive higher studies in MBA to specialize in the management sector.

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.

Silicon university College review.

In ojee counseling i had taken cet, vssut, silicon, and igit. In cet which is now outr i didn't get the branch which I wanted due to less jee percentile. In vssut and igit i was kind of getting the branch i wanted but my parents were not agreeing to send me out of state or out of district. And other than all these colleges i had options of kiit, iter(soa), and cv raman iter and cv raman were actually a bit far from my home and daily travel would have been very hectic. Kiits fees structure is too much all though my father was very interested for my admission in kiit but who tf would give 4 lakhs for engineering or btech course.
