- It is a very popular fest with great enthusiasm shown by the students and the faculty.
- This university provides us scholarship and infrastructure is very much good .
- Many other facilities. teacher are very good and excellent. quality of teaching is very very good as compared to other university

- Bus transpotrtaion system is not good as vast no. of students are present
- Food of the hostel was very poor and they r not working on that
- No opportunity for internships from college side we have to arrange from our side for internships, mostly private companies get visit to the college with very less placements, worst college in terms of placements

- Job opportunities facilitated at our college are amazing and are truly helpful.
- Our university has hostel that makes a lasting impact because not just rooms are comfortable but our other facilities are also top-notch.
- GIET supports various extra curricular activities and therefore gives students opportunity to learn and grow.
Dislikes
- Not a comspolitian crowd as 90% students are from Orissa and rest from Bengal or Jharkhand.
Placement Experience:
First Source, Mindtree, Google and various names of IT which are dream jobs for anyone our university ensured that we atleast have a chance to get that. Ofcourse the requirements were less but our students with the skillset they had 80% of them had placements through campus including me.

- Encouragement for different sports like cricket, volleyball, basketball, badminton etc.
- Ragging is prohibited and no student gets dragged in the campus
- Teaching staffs are so helpful as they helps in the class as well as in their leisure.
Dislikes
- The place where college is situated, is a remote area ,so there is no exposure for talent except studies.
- There is a very minimal scope for students to showcase their extracurricular activities.
- Strength of students is very high as compared to facilities and faculties.
Placement Experience:
From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements.The companies which visits every year are TCS, Qualtech, Cognizant etc. which offers an average package of 8-9 lacs per annum and almost 90% students are placed every year. My plan is to appear GATE exam and approach in a govt. organization like SAIL, HAL etc.

- The surroundings and nature are the only things of giet that are appropriate and other than that everything needs to be improved
- Cultural activities and participation of students

- Everything here needs to be improved as soon as possible
- Management is literally trash and the most disadvantageous thing of giet
- There is a lot of partiality here and that can't be declined

The highest package maybe is 9,00000/- and the average package is 6lpa
90 percent student are getting placed here

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. The campus visited are TCS and Infosys and Mahindra. The highest package is 270000 and the Lowest package is 300000 . The 80 percentage of students got the job.

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, Infosys , Mahindra Companies visited to our college and many numbers of offers made. 2700000 is the highest and 400000 average package as per company and profiles offered

- Friendly teaching staff. Very cooperative . The faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. Most of the use ppt for understanding and some use theoretical methods and real life examples for teaching which is very much beneficial to students.
- The campus is very surreal. The environment is full of greenary and in rainy season the mountain looks awesome which gives students a positive mindset,which is actually necessary for most of the students.
- Seniors are very good and helpful. No ragging is there , neither in the campus nor in the hostel . The environment is friendly and joyous.
Dislikes
- College washroom : very unhygienic and awful. The washrooms are not cleaned daily. Stinking smells are coming from the washrooms.
- Bus driver are some good but others are very rude. They think themselves to be the head of the college.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placement from 6th semester (3rd year). Some companies allow internships in the 3rd year, which may convert into full-time offers. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Wipro visited to the campus, and select a decent amount of students. The average package for placement is between 3-4 LPA. Though the college promise to give 100% placements but it is generally 80-90 % percent which is quite good .

Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum of this university is updated and they conduct regularly test.
The timing for 2 cycle tests is about one and a half month and the semester exam is conducted after 2nd cycle test.
The level of exam is quite good and anyone can secure Good marks if they try hard
