Our faculty members are so good they help with everything doubt in education purpose or in a life purpose they help in our projects also they help how to take notes and everything some teachers are like friends
Fees were affordable and worth it, having different scholarship programmes like kusum ratna and many others, good companies were there give internships and a good stipend was there and good final assistance.
The campus is very good and beautiful very clean and love the environment there.

Dislikes

Hostel mess food was actually a mess. Not good for vegetarian students.
Management is so poor we have to stand in every thing
Not so good infrastructure as it is constructing another campus

Our college story

Likes

Teachers are well educated and they help with everything like education life etc
Teaching pattern and cource pattern is good
Behaviour is so good that everything is feeling so special

Dislikes

No placement at our time in 2020 we are graduated without placement
No activities related to commerce section
Management is so poor we have to stand in every thing

They help me to take mba as my communication is good and they also suggest me the specialisation Human resource to take because I have a good communication and also confident in speaking also help in in clear ojaee exam

Likes

The lecturers are very friendly in nature.
The lecturers and staffs will help you out in every aspect possible.
College surrounding is very big and full of trees.

Dislikes

Very chaos outside the college which can be disturbing sometimes.
Outsiders are being allowed at evening for using ground due to which the ground gets dirty
Very rush of public in the college area also.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students become eligible for placements. Less amount of companies visits our campus like tata birla, Hindalco etc. Maximum students prefer to go for further studies therefore placement rate is very low

The campus is very good and beautiful very clean and love the environment there.
The fest that are held are most crazy we love the fest.
The faculties are too good the are always ready to help.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I like to study commerce subject economics, accountancy.i have interest in this subject so I choose this course. The goal is to ensure that student get comprehensive learning experience that meet their needs and prepares then for future and the real world. The course and the teaching methods are great they have highly qualified teacher. The exam are conduct near Feb and June and if you will study with consistency daily you can easily pass the exam it's not that hard.

Gangadhar Meher University: A delight to live

Likes

The study hall of the college is quite attractive. It provides a silent place to study all day.
The department rooms are well maintained. The teachers are obedient and always on time.
The library of the college has vast number of books, all kinds, all genres, all fields, educational, fiction, literature any language etc

Dislikes

Seniors are often involved in nuisance activities which needs to be controlled by faculties
The hostels require more surveillance as the students may get out of control sometimes.

Placement Experience:

The college is open for placements. Campus selection happens regularly. Companies like Microsoft, HCLTech come to pick up students. They do follow a professional way to choose students through a well made resume and an interview, even in the first year.

I liked the campus it's big and very friendly environment.
The faculty member are also so good and supportive.
The seniors are also so cooperative always ready toh help.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I want to pursue career in this field so I choose this course.The faculty is very good and the ratio of boys and girls are 5:4 almost same but it depends on the how many student take addmission.The qualification of the faculty are they all have done master PhD and their teaching method also so good. The term exam were on time between Feb and June not sure but its not difficult to pass if u study thoroughly u will pass easily.

Gangadhar Meher College, one of the oldest college of Odisha

Likes

The fees. This college had a minimal fees of approx INR5000 per year. as compared to other colleges its gigantically cheap and affordable
Infrastructure. The college's infrastructure was also great. it was good looking as well as easily accessible

Dislikes

the faculty. i was greatly disapoint due to the faculty.

i did choose this course due to my intrest. there were not many faculty members but were many students approx 300 students and just 4 to 5 faculty members. as a result there was difficulties in mintaining discipline and performing certain programs. the faculty were not much qualified either.. there level of teaching and speeches were not mus fluent

Good college with great experience.

Likes

Campus was very big and huge for book fair and different different sports.
Faculties members was good and well qualified.
Students are very supportive and helpful.

Dislikes

For examination not getting the enough time to prepare.
Hostel food quality need to be improved.
In campus proper cleaning is required with proper awareness.

The college is renowned, faculties were cooperative, supportive and highly qualified, the examination pattern was semester basis it covers the syllabus and every semester we had 2 internal exams, great experience.

HONEST REVIEW ABOUT "GANGADHAR MEHER UNIVERSITY SAMBALPUR".

Placement Experience:

From 5 semesters students are eligible for campus placement. packages depending on companies that come to give job opportunities. Highest I have seen is 1200000 a year. It can be more nowadays. About 30 to 40 percent of students get placement every year. I have passed my graduation from this university and I am pursuing my M.COM in Ravenshaw University Cuttack.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose B.com because from the start I like mathematics so I heard commerce is best for those people. B.Com is related to accounting and calculation. The faculty in my college is very good and helpful. There are around 200-300 students in one classroom and the teacher are well educated to teach. Every 6 months there is one semester and you have to learn both practical and theory to pass out.

Course Curriculum Overview:

At first, I have pursue this course BCom honours in accounting because I want to develop my accounting skills. The lectures are very pleasant. And the teachers are well qualified. There is a magic in their teaching style. The exams are conducted 6 times during the whole bachelor's degree. In first year you have to give two semesters with some specific subjects and this continued to the last year. There is credit points based system. As you know if you study well then the marks will definitely be wonderful.
