The prominent recruiters are - ADM Argo, Adobe, Bajaj Auto, Capgemini, CGI, Cisco, DE Shaw, EXL Services, Razor Pay, Reliance Jio, Freshworks and Goldman Sachs. Faculty The computer science faculty cannot be compared with chemical engineering. CS faculty is amazing having well-equipped knowledge in the field to deal with real competition. They all are efficient in imparting real practical skill set to their students in a proper manner. If finances are an issue, then BITS Goa isn’t the right place to go unless you come under the EWS category (total family income less than 11 LPA). BITS Goa is one of the most expensive engineering colleges in India. A B.E degree can end up costing about 19 to 20 lakhs for 4 years and an M.Sc degree about 19 lakhs. If you are from general category, BITS Goa will dent your wallet for the next few years. Besides being one of the best engineering NITs in the country, the fees for NIT Calicut are much, much lighter around 5.5 lakhs for 4 years. Getting a Circuit branch is no easy task as the cutoffs are pretty high. If you’re getting ECE here, and money is an issue, then this is the place to go. Although, if you’re under the EWS section, BITS Goa will offer scholarships based on your performance in the first year. If you’re able to obtain a CGPA of 8.5+, then a scholarship of 80% is awarded. For a CGPA of 7.5, a scholarship of 40% is awarded, and so on.

Fees and Financial Aid:

For the first semester the Fees is Rs 3,16,000 in which around 50,000 is admission fees, Hostel and electricity fees is separate which is 53,000. Fees for next semesters is around 2,50,000 plus hostel fees 53,000. Scholarship is given on basis of two criteria- Merit and Merit cum need. To avail merit cum need scholarship your family income must lie under 15 lakh per annum. For merit only scholarship student must be in top 1% for 100% scholarship and top 2% for 50% scholarship.

The first 2years i will being paying 8lakhs per year as tution fees. Rs.57,100 is the admission fee and there is no such development fee or lab fee so far. There is no reservations and also no management quota. All my bits-rmit batchmates fee is same. Merit cum need scholarship is awarded based on CGPA

The fees that I will be paying is around 8 lakh per annum, which is higher than other colleges but since it is a private college, it is what it is. There is no special attention for sc/st or management since the college believes in merit over any such stupid believe that some people need special attention and reservations. Although there is a merit cum need facility for op 1 and 2% students.

Bad Grading - Bits has relative grading system and Goa campus is especially famous for Bad Grading therefore getting a high cgpa becomes increasingly difficult
hectic academic structure- academic structure every semester contains 7-8 courses and continuous evaluation makes course curriculum pretty hectic
Huge Fees is an increasingly growing problem here though management is taking some actions but still 30+ lakhs for a bachelors degree is pretty high

Fees for single degree student - 30+ lakhs over 4 years Fees for dual degree studenr - 35+ lakhs over 5 years Scholarships: These scholarships are given on the basis of cgpa. merit scholarship - top 3% of the batch gets 100% scholarship while next 3% gets 40% merit cum need (Income limit - 15 lpa as of 2024) - 3% gets 80%, 6% gets 40%, rest get 25%. Other then these there are also few minor scholarships like student aid financial assistance. Loans: Banks are present on campus which offer education loan for all course fees at interest rate of ~8.5%

The fees structure of bits is very flexible. The fees of bits keep on increasing by 50000 every year. Scholarships include MCN and SpecialAid. If a student studies hard and gets a CG above 9 he can get all the money he has paid to bits. There are many campus jobs that range from washerman, and lab assistant to a teacher. There are many opportunities in bits and is one of the best placement colleges in the country.

Bits Goa- The college of dreams

1)- The fees for 1 year is around RS 5,00,000 with a 20%hike every year on the tution fees. 2)- The college gives various types of scholarships like:- a)- Merit Scholarship:- for students who are exceptionally good in the studies. Only 1% students get this scholarship. b)- Merit Cum Need Scholarship :- for students who have financial problems and whose parents income is less than Rs 11,00,000 per year. Many Students get this scholarship and the cut - off for this scholarship is around 6 CGPA. Also, college provides many internship opportunities from which students can earn money.

Bits Pilani, Its Magic!

Fees structure is around 2 lakh per semester. It is quite high but the opportunities the college provides says for it all. Scholarships are available. Top 20 students get free education, all fees get refunded. People having annual salary of household less than 11 lakhs get 40% refund on tution fees each sem and people having less than 40% annual salary with cgpa greater than 9 gets 80% refund on tution fees. Also, people can earn by becoming teaching assistant of the courses in which they have scored well.

BITS Pilani - Offering Top Experience

Fees can be hiked without prior notice. During our batch the fees had shoot up to 40% each semester. In comparison with other colleges, the fees is still competitive for the value and experience you gain during the course. I do not have enough information about scholarship and financial assistance at the moment. The college helps you with it, however check the website or contact the college administration

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is fine. Could have been better but considering that there's dual degree students too, the course looks pretty well structured. Academics is the same as it is In every college, if you wanna study. You can do pretty well. If you dont, them you'll get plenty of people like that too. But by the end of 4 years it prepares for industry level work sufficiently well also offering 2 compulsory internships during those 4 years. But the college lacks in exceptional faculties.
