AKGEC Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Question 1 - After the 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Question 2 - As the college is situated in the NCR region companies come to college. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro visit the college and no of the offers made are around 11-12 students. Many starts up companies also visit college. Question 3 - I don't know much about that but the highest package ever offered is 23 lakhs approx. Question 4 - HoD of the IT department says that 90% of the students are placed but I have not seen it applied. Maybe it's not in my knowledge. Question 5 - In our college, many students got good marks but accordingly placement is not so good. So, students go for GATE preparation. My plan after getting the degree is not yet decided because I wanted to have my hands in various sectors like a startup, research or a job. Recently, I am learning and improving my skills so that I can better use them in whatever option I will have at that time.

Students become elegibke for placement from 3rd Year. Many companies visit the college for on-campus placement. Some of the major one are TCS, Infosys, DLT Labs, Newgen and many more. Around 80-85% students get placed.

Students can get placements from 6 sem onwards. Companies such as Borsh, Amazon, Infosys,etc come for placements. 90 % of students get placed. My plan is to crack gate and icrb and also I am going to apply for placements.

The placement committee takes care of the placement process. They give the notices to final year students whenever a company comes for a drive. A student becomes eligible for sitting in placement in his 7 semesters. And if he is placed in one company he can not sit in the other. The average offered package is 3 LPA and max is 8 LPA.

It was the best A.K.T.U private college rankwise in 2016. It has good placement record for Cs/It branches for all other branches they provide less opportunity.The main drawback is in this college is attendance system they call your patents if you do join the classes regularly.They are very strict for attendance and also for internal assessments.

As for placement purpose, TCS, Infosys a mass recruiter for AKGEC. Most of the student places in MNC. and approx 100% placement from any branch. Mass recruiter open for all branch and no restriction for core branch.

The College placements so for the placements a maximum number of tech companies that we say as mass recruiters come to the campus like Infosys, Wipro and so on.. even India aur force and navy had approached in the college placements. The college has a maximum number of placements in the IT industry for the core ones it is advised to learn some programing language. The college has an average package of 4 LPA. Students also get placed in the companies like KUKA ROBOTICS, and BOSCH. I haven't heard of any product-based company such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon approaching the college campus. To get placed in these companies u have to apply off-campus. The college provides a great placement percentage for the CSE and IT students.

Being a fresher we do not know much about the placements. But as far as the records go the placement records are nice. Also due to the opportunity provided by college to learn new skills at the centers of excellence the placement chances can be increased.

No knowledge about this for now but what I have listened is that like a number of companies visit our college on a regular basis and glamour number of students and the highest package is about 12 about what I've searched on the internet and averages about four and I am not completely sure about other details.

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester and the placement scenario is very limited Infosys, Wipro, TCS are the mass recruiter for our college which takes both core and tech students but the placement package is hardly in any case above 10 lakhs. Mainly it floats around 3-4 lakhs only The Highest package availed by any student is around 12 lakhs that too off-campus. For cs it branches the average is around 5 lakh for the starting and the rest is rarely counted. Other than placement students also get to PSUs and other government jobs. The placement percentage for cse is around 75% and even that if the students are really hardworking. I to plan for getting a decent on-campus or off-campus placement till the mid of final year
