AKGEC Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements are very good for the CS and IT students. All students if CS/IT branch get placed in companies like INFOSYS, TCS, HCL,WIPRO, UNTHINKABLE, etc. The highest package offered was 15 LPA with an average package of 3.5LPA. In core branch-like mechanical and civil, placements are like zero. Most of the mechanical students get placed in IT companies and marketing companies as a business development associates. But most Mechanical and civil students prepare for CAT and GATE exams. I got placed in BANDMA PACKAGING company and also qualifies GATE exam. I'm looking for Mtech admissions.

I have not graduated yet but placements are good at this college you get packages from 40 lacs to 5 lacs. Almost 300 companies come for placement every year. Almost all students get internships in good companies.

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for placements. The companies which visit our college are Wipeout,amazon,tisco ,Infosys, l&t,abp news networks and many more. The highest package is around 12 lakhs and the average package is about 4 and 4.5 lakhs

Many companies like sales and IT background come for recruitment but do not expect a 6 or 7 lakh package. Many students get recruited by Infosys and TCS. Even from mechanical and civil they also get a job in sales and IT companies. Because very few like on or two core company came here and recruit only 2 or 3 students. Many students prepare for government jobs but again very few get to those jobs.

After JEE mains my rank was poor. There is no choice other than my State Institutes So applied in it. There are few good states government college like HBTI, KNIT etc. They rejected me then as a Private college I choose AKGEC because of there good academic performance in past years.

It has a good academic record(getting chancellor award for last 5 successive years), Good ranked college among all AKTU colleges. Excellent Infrastructure. Being in Delhi-NCR Region. was getting Fee Waiver seat.I took the admission through UPSEE counselling.I got a Rank of 5590 in this exam,so I got Fee waiver seat.I was advised by my Seniors, by my councellor too.(considering my Rank in this exam as well as in other exams)

After 12th i have cleared the UPSEE exam and got 14 thousand rank and in the counselling process i got AKG college. The infrastructure of the college is best in the NCR region. Its made with the help of German infrastructure. The administration of the college is very disciplined as all of them belongs to army background.

Placement for students of CSE and IT branch is best about 90-100%get placed but it’s difficult for students of CIVIL and MECHANICAL branch students. This year about 90% of students of branch Cse, It, Ece got placed. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Havells, etc and sometimes companies like Adobe, Bosch, Siemens, etc also comes. The average package is about 4-5 lakhs and the highest package goes to about 14-15 lakhs.

There are many companies visited on the campus which provide decent placements. 80% of students get placed during placements. I want to run my own business after the degree. The lowest package is 3lakh/ year.

As per records, the college has a good placement record. Also faculties apart from academic make student company ready. All students get the equal opportunity if they have threshold cgpa. Company visiting college always offers students the best things with the best placement. Also, college apart from placement opportunities allows students to join various training courses offered to make them capable to crack the job interview. The student who is capable and isn't able to crack interview are given some special assistance to guide them in a way to get job.
