To apply for a UK Student visa to study at Northumbria University under the SGU programme:
- CAS Document: Obtain a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from Northumbria University.
- Visa Application: Visit the UKVI website for detailed instructions on the visa application process.
- Duration: The CAS covers the full duration of your studies, including time spent in the UK and Grenada for the Bachelor of Medical Sciences award.
- Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS): Pay the IHS as part of your visa application. SGU students will need to pay an additional year of IHS for the Grenada study period.
- Graduate Route Visa: Upon completion of the Bachelor of Medical Sciences award, eligible students can apply for a Graduate visa, allowing them to work in the UK for up to 2 years. Application must be made within the UK before the Student visa expires, meeting specified criteria.
