  • The University of East London has a 91% employability rate (could vary). It took me a while to land a job I wanted and sometimes I think I still don't have my dream job, but everyone has a different journey. Salary range also differs on different factors, like have you applied for a PSW? Where are you working and what is your field of expertise?

  • Difficulty level of course curriculum was medium. We have all a mixture, theoretical plus practical for my course.
  • Positive aspects about the course that we get to learn something new that I was not aware of before. And negative aspects are that some parts of the course are too old, which right now in the market no one is using.

Fees

  • Tuition fees: the tuition fees of my course are 18000 pounds overall for a year.
  • I didn't take hostel because it was too costly inside the university. So I decided to take it outside the college and I took a rented house where I needed to pay 450 pounds per month and it was in sharing with one person. I had to pay 450 pounds, including all the bills, except groceries.
  • Fee charged at my college is semester wise or you can pay the whole fees in one go; it's up to you but there is a deadline for all, which you have to follow, or else you will pay more than usual.
  • Monthly expenses, including all, will be 700-800 pounds.

  • The course difficulty is definitely easy. They are structured very well and the topics included are very relative to the module. The classes are a mix of both practical and theory. We have theory classes on wednesday and thursday, and then practicals on thursday and fridays. So it is managed really well. Classes are evenly managed throughout the day.
  • My course is cloud computing, the factor which makes my course stand out is that, our course leader is going to take us on a visit to an actual datacenter to see how the cloud actually works. That is something very brilliant and noteworthy.
  • I dont have as such favourite professors, every professor is really nice to me, i have good connections with them as i am really punctual and curious student and we have an healthy interaction in our classes.
  • Career zone is the place where one should go to if they need assistance with the part time jobs

Fees

  • My yearly fees is £15960 for the first year. I have a placement year as well so additional £3500 for that.
  • I also have the oncampus occomodation till term 1(january). It costs me £750 per month including all the bills and maintenance.
  • My monthly expense for all the groceries is around £50-60, but that is subjective. If you are a fun and outgoing person, it will definitely cost you more.

  • The course I took was Master of Business Administration in Business Analytics which was quite interesting and not so hard to understand. It had both theoretical and practical which helped in understand the present scenario in the business.
  • The practical knowledge more helped in decision-making skills and problem-solving skills.

Fees

  • For my Total course fees - 24000 GBP, My Hostel and mess charges 15000 GBP and for transport, weekend expenses and parties, for tour and travelling charges are about 5000 GBP.
  • I paid my total fees in two installment. Monthly with all expenses it cost me about 1500 GBP approx.
  • Some times I spend more for one month and budget it for another month which overall balanced the budget

In my opinion, the course curriculum could be more focused on core skills and tools essential for our field. Given that this is a one-year program with significant breaks between terms, I believe the university should prioritise teaching practical tools like Excel, Python, Tableau, and Power BI. These skills are crucial for our future careers, and dedicating more time to them would be beneficial, rather than rushing through the content in just two terms.

As per credit, you get hands-on experience with the digital world using different software as a trial. Practicality is a top priority so helps in future. About faculty, it's kind of 50-50 some are helpful, and some are not, and have to be chased during projects and assignments. If you expect to study like an international student it's not like that 90% are Indians.

Fees

You can pay fees in 2 parts some 30-40% from India and the rest you can show in your bank account and pay it after landing in the UK. If you are lucky, you might get a scholarship for like 1000-2000£. As I got 2000£ scholarship.
