Course Curriculum

8

  • The course I took was Master of Business Administration in Business Analytics which was quite interesting and not so hard to understand. It had both theoretical and practical which helped in understand the present scenario in the business.
  • The practical knowledge more helped in decision-making skills and problem-solving skills.

Admission Experience

  • I applied for for 3 Universities University of Manchester, University of Greenwich, University of East London. University of Manchester wait-listed my application and university of Greenwich has accepted the application. Even university of East London accepted my application but I chose university of east london ,compared the fees particulars, scholarship provided by them and rate of employability given by the universities.

  • I applied for university of East London where I had another offer from university of Greenwich. Accepted the offer letter from University of East London, I did research for universities and selected UEL. As my profile was good and got admitted in the university. My IELTS core was 7.0 overall and GRE 290 which were minimum which were enough for admission. I also considered many factors like accommodation , transport, living expenses from the place of universities located . I really loved the overall experience which was remarkable.

  • It was very after the Corona period I Have taken the steps to apply for universities and got admission in 2021 January but due to some delay in Education loan sanction and I joined university in 2021 May intake. I actually wanted to join in January 2021 but was not successful. The Overall admission process took me 6 months including the loan period which took more time for approval. From the time of offer letter and submitting all the documents were very easy but in terms of finances it took me more time as it was pandemic period but was in-time everything happened.

Class Schedule

8

  • There were two classes per day which had theoretical in the morning session and practical in the afternoon.
  • The average number of students were approximately 75 in the class. Half of the class were Indian.

Faculty

10

  • The faculty-to-student ratio in my course was six. For the theoretical class had three professors and for the practical classes they were three which had a best ratio for the students.
  • The teaching methodology of our professors was very straight which indicated to the present market and how to go with it and secure jobs in the market. Yes, most of the professors guided in getting the jobs with their personal references.
  • Dr Francis B.Frimpong Senior Lecturer guided me in all aspects.

Campus Life

10

  • There are two Campuses- One is Docklands campus and another is Stratford Campus. I belong to Docklands campus, which is a beautiful campus which is situated at the banks of river Thames.Riverside is the best and my favorite spot .
  • The library is also one of the best spots for reading. I normally go to the sport block for gym and entertainment.
  • All the Indian festivals are celebrated and many events are organised.
  • There is also a student Union which helps in every aspect.

Part Time Jobs

  • Not many students secure Teacher Assistant, Research Assistant or other jobs but some of my friends got Junior fellow jobs in Campus. Normally the pay range of the government decided is 9.1 GBP , in the university job they get 11 GBP. Some more jobs are allotted for students for 20 hours per week. Students can only work for 20 hours per week as per government norms. If there is availability of job on campus , according to your talent you can get it.

  • If any student works for 20 hours per week and 80 hours monthly can earn upto 800 GBP. It is not that hard to secure a part time job but need to search for it. Apply jobs in the Online platforms or can directly apply on the company's website. I applied for the part time job in Amazon as FC Assiociate. I first saw the vacancies in the job portal and applied for the job ,attended the interview and got the offer letter and worked in Amazon

Placement

8

  • After completing the course there are chances of getting jobs are about 45 to 50 percentage. \
  • The average salary after getting the job is about 25000 GBP. Students can get jobs in placements and also can search job in online platforms like linkedln, Indeed etc...
  • One of my friends got job in British Airways from the direct application in their Careers website and earning about 32000 GBP per year.

Accommodation

Off Campus
10

  • I opted for the University accommodation which was very pleasant and very unique.
  • I book my accommodation from my university website itself. The monthly expenses for my hostel was 812 GBP. In the hostel they gave a kitchen, Living area, and a shared room for two people.
  • I thought of taking accommodation outside but did not want to take risk and chose University hostel. Accommodation in the same university campus. I would suggest future students not to take risks and choose university Hostels.

Exams

  • For the admission process, they needed all my +1,+2 English marks but I wrote IELTS and GRE for better college. They asked me SSC certificate, +1,+2 certificates, Graduation certificate, Statement of Purpose, Letter of recommendation, Resume and my Passport.
  • Yes there was an interview and it is the deciding factor for the admission process, where i got qualified in my first attempt.
  • The interview was conducted by University staff and they were testing the knowledge for the course we were taken and everything about the university and country we were about to go.

Fees

  • For my Total course fees - 24000 GBP, My Hostel and mess charges 15000 GBP and for transport, weekend expenses and parties, for tour and travelling charges are about 5000 GBP.
  • I paid my total fees in two installment. Monthly with all expenses it cost me about 1500 GBP approx.
  • Some times I spend more for one month and budget it for another month which overall balanced the budget

Scholarship

  • Yes, I received the Scholarship during my course period which was exempted from the overall tuition fees.
  • The scholarship was from the University itself, this scholarship was provided to all the international students, which in others terms can say discounted from the overall tuition fees of 24000 GBP.
  • The scholarship I received was 5000 GBP which in total fees I Paid is 19.000 GBP. My friends also received the same. It was almost same for all the international students.
