- I enjoyed my time at Imperial because of the different faculty members from all around the world. I thought going into a university that my faculty would only have a British outlook and not a global perspective but turned out that most faculty was from the US and other countries. This helped me connect more with the content.,
- The students were mostly asian because of our vast population but people had studied outside of Asia which helped bring in a global perspective on the different skills and tasks we performed. I also liked the focus given to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.
Course Curriculum
The course curriculum is quite updated, and it was relevant to what is happening in the industry. Most professors were so well versed with the topics that it felt more like a class where they would be sharing personal experiences that would cover the different elements of the subject. It was a great way to learn from experts. One of the most notable memories is from a person from the Bank of England who talked about how inflation is calculated by the bank and provided information about the consumer price index and different functions within the bank.

- Location, it's in Central London close to loads of museums and parks, a hub for culture and history,
- Since Imperial is primarily a STEM uni even the business school is influenced by that, all our profs do a great job at keeping up with new tech and the course material is relevant.,
- The course is evenly paced and doesn't get overwhelming.,
- Profs and the program team are super kind and understanding.
- Dislikes:
- Huge cohort size, can be hard to stand out.,
- London is an extremely expensive city. The visa restrictions and the current job market does't make getting a job easy.

The course material is super up-to-date and we had tons of industrial exposure in the form of workshops, events and classes.

- Motivate students to excel both academically and personally,
- Lots of events taking place all the time. You also get a chance to meet new people almost every day.,

- Curriculum is more theoretical and it could be more practical with hands-on experiences rather than just focusing on writing reports.,
- This course is quite hectic which is stressful.

The course curriculum is updated frequently and is great in terms of relevancy. The curriculum covers the latest advancements in this field along with both theoretical and practical insights. There are guest lectures, group projects and networking events that help us in networking and also to gain industrial exposure. Overall, my academic experience is great and is closely aligned with current industry standards.

The course curriculum and academics for the MSc Science Media Production at Imperial College London are top-notch. The syllabus is very updated and relevant, reflecting the latest advancements and trends in the field. The quality of the teachers is exceptional; for example, there was one instance where we were taught from a research paper published just two days before our lecture, which I found pretty amazing and a testament to Imperial's quality of education. Additionally, I gained valuable industry experience at BBC Studios as a Developmental Researcher for a science documentary series on Evolution during April and May.

- The best thing about my university is the course itself. It is more than what I expected and has really helped me learn ,many new things. There are also a lot of eating joints, bars inside the university to chill and relax if you are having a tough day.
- Dislikes:
- It has a very small campus compared to my undergraduate and no accommodation by the university for post-graduates. While the university provides a lot of support for career development, placements could really help students.

- I chose this because of the course structure and this course aligns with my interest and goals. I loved the experience and working culture at Imperial College London. I wanted to pursue a broad and research course and this was the major factor for me to choose this course and university amongs many others.,
- The most awesome experience was my research projects and library facility. The environment just made me work at my best potential and successfully complete the projects. No one spoon feeds there. Motivation is required to work and stay focused. My university provided me the required motivation and taught me some research skills that I can utilise anywhere in the world now.
- Dislikes:
- One important thing that I would want Imperial to offer to Master students is that 24*7 permit in labs, because I sometimes wanted to work late at nights. However, it requires presence of a senior lab member which is always not possible.
Course Curriculum
Course syllabus was update-to-date and this course was extremely research-intensive. Therefore, I would say I was provided with research exposure and experience. To saty updated with other domains in science, we had weekly lectures conducted on every Wednesday (not graded), but gave me overall knowledge and understanding of other fields like X-ray crystallography, microbial resistance research, usage of robotics in surgery, and so on.

Since I chose to take a research course, tuition fee was quite high. It includes the usage of some high-technology systems in the lab and other advanced equipment. Total tuition fee was around £37,000 for the batch 2022-23.

- Imperial is top 6 in the world for university ranking and the group I joined is a highly reputed group in the world for my research area.,
- Professional attitude of professors, staff and fellow students of Imperial are excellent. Everyone is respected and included in the imperial community.,
- There are plenty of clubs and societies in Imperial, students can join any of them according to their choice, If they don't find one of their choice -Imperial provides all support to start a new club/society.
- Dislikes:
- Imperial College London is in the heart of the London. Living and accommodation costs are vey high here.,
- This is something that is not in the hands of university team but there is separate student financial team here that supports students in need of any financial assistance.,
- Also, London cannot be described better without mentioning about its road traffic.
Course Curriculum
The course curriculum is up to date at ICL and ICL removes outdated material from the syllabus every year. As a mechanical graduate, I studied engineering drawing with drafters back in India. At Imperial you will not a see a student with drafter, its all Computer aided design (CAD) now. Students are given assignments based on CAD and are given resources to carry out the assignments.
