- Master of Science in Human and Biological Robotics at Imperial College London is a 1-year program.
- It is an on-campus, 90 credits program offered on a full-time basis.
- This program is a wide-ranging course covering robotics for humans and society, service and social robotics, rehabilitation technology, as well as machine vision, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
- The course is taught by the Department of Bioengineering with additional input from the Departments of Aeronautics, Computing, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and the Dyson School of Design Engineering.
- Students will benefit from close links with the Imperial Robotics Forum.
- Students also take benefit from a multidisciplinary group made up of over 20 laboratories, more than 30 principal investigators, and 150 researchers and PhD students.
- The graduates are well placed for the following fields:
- Further research in universities, research institutes, industry, and healthcare
- Design and production (of medical devices and biomimetic systems)
- Freelancing, entrepreneurship, and start-ups
- Technical and commercial consulting
- Students will receive their course timetable by the beginning of their studies in October and the core teaching hours for the College are 9 am–6 pm.
- The teaching methods of the program includes laboratory work, lectures, individual research project, presentations, seminars, and workshops.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have a 2.1 degree in engineering, physical sciences, or mathematical subject from a recognized university.
- This is a mathematically-demanding program and students are expected to have robust quantitative skills.
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL and PTE to get admission in this program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students should have completed a 3-4 year bachelor's degree from a mainstream university (state/federal or deemed institution) passed with the required grades.
- Students for research should hold a 3 to 4-year bachelor's degree and master's degree, both passed with required grades.
- Applicants from elite institutions will be required to obtain a minimum overall average of 7 / 10 or 60%. These are the college minimum scores and particular departments may seek grades at a higher level.
- Applicants from other approved institutions will be required to obtain a minimum overall average ranging from 7.5-8 / 10 or 65-70%.
