I chose this college as I was particularly looking for a course in the International Management program, and this college was an ideal choice for me as their curriculum involves both theoretical and practical training. Also, Imperial College is a highly renowned college and is known for its academic excellence in various fields. My course had students from different parts of the world; therefore, it was an enriching experience getting to interact with them and to be able to learn about different cultural perspectives.
Course Curriculum
It was perfect! Everything was set from an international perspective. It was a balance of theoretical and practical courses.
Faculty
One of my professors at Imperial had a huge impact on me. Prof Sankalp was so passionate and resourceful about the entire set of leadership skills he took up throughout the course. I found that to be the most enriching experience for me. Faculty to student ratio of my course was quite balanced and they made sure that students received personalized attention from the professors. Class Sizes were also considerably small therefore it was quite easy to network with the professors and peers. Also, all the faculty members had great expertise in their field as well as had practical industry experience. Additionally, the professors were really supportive and provided detailed guidance.
Campus Life
The campus life is at its best, you can be a part of numerous societies, clubs, events and fairs. The highlight is the ICBS library. The WIFI is provided on the entire campus and has good connection everywhere including in narrow areas and basements where the mobile connection is low.
Placement
The opportunities are good. However, in the UK the current job market is not good, given the recession situation. However, studying at a renowned university such as ICBS has definitely opened a lot of career opportunities for me worldwide.
