University of Northampton Acceptance Rate and Student Profile

The University of Northampton acceptance rate is overall 20%, portraying a highly competitive admission process. Undergraduate (via UCAS) might be more competitive due to limited places; postgraduate (direct applications) is often less selective as courses fill on rolling basis. Currently, the university is home to 11,893 students. This includes 4,703 international students from more than 100 countries.

As an Indian student applying to the University of Northampton (UON), your admission chances are favorable if you meet the entry requirements and apply early, given the university's rolling admissions process. UON does not officially publish an acceptance rate, but data from UCAS and third-party sources provides estimates. The offer rate (likelihood of receiving an offer) is high at 77–86%, reflecting quick decisions (5–15 days) for qualified candidates. However, the acceptance/enrollment rate (percentage of applicants who ultimately enroll) hovers around 20–21%. For postgraduate (MSc) programs, which many Indian students apply to via direct applications, the effective rate is often higher (estimated 30–50%) as courses fill on a first-come, first-served basis.

Overview

I did my Bachelors due to course contents being offered for Marketing and I thoroughly loved the structure and the faculty. Best faculty ever. For my Masters, I came back due to an Alumni scholarship worth 50% which allowed me to resume my studies. I liked that Masters in this university comes with a placement year and I feel a placement year has multiplied the value of my course 10 fold.
