• Accommodation is provided by the college. rent is 30,000 to 45,000 INR depending on location.

• This data is difficult to gather but you can do a bit of a research again on the KTH website to get an idea. There are some job fairs and networking there helps a lot and many find the jobs by doing these kinds of networking activities.

• There are some facilities but you are responsible for your own applications for accommodations.

• I am a PhD student at KTH university researching wave energy converters.

• The accommodation can be found on the KTH website. Students can also register in SSSB for more options.

• Most of the students are placed within 6 months of the course; that is, like 90% are placed. People with research interests take up PhDs. They get placed with a good package, like a minimum of 30000 kr a month; the university does not directly help in job searching. The professors are helpful and guide us in our job search. Mainly we search for jobs by networking and online job portals. I am in the first year so I don't have a detailed view of the placements. The major companies that come for recruitment are Volvo, saab, Scania, Airbus, etc.

• The quality of accommodation and stay at campus is very safe, commutable and comfortable. It has all facilities inside, such as laundry, kitchen and cycle parking spaces too. There are 3 possible university accommodations, of which 2 are in the university and 1 is 3km away from the campus, which is a 20-minute travel.
• There is an sssb.se queue where you can look for cheaper and better accommodation after the first year. I stay on campus; I pay around 63k inr a month. I would recommend taking the cheaper ones; it makes a lot of difference in the monthly expenses.

• In my batch, only 50% got employment in the first 6 moths. As the job market is not great, everyone is finding it difficult to find a job. The reasons are many companies already laid off lots of people and are currently not willing to hire new people. It is due to war and recession. Hope the situation changes soon.
• 30000-35000sek/month is the basic starting salary for freshers.
• There is no concept called placements. Everything you have to search and apply on your own. It goes through online application portal. But be ready to attend lots of careers fair and make connections. Networking is really important.

• For Stockholm there is student housing board called SSSB. You need to join the queue and register with your student status. Once you have been reviewed then you can bid the house using your queue days. If you have the maximum days among everyone then you'll get the accommodation. For international students, KTH provided accommodation for the first year. Similarly, each city has their own landlord and queueing system.
• Monthly rent is 4500sek and it includes everything.
• Once you have decided that you are coming to stockholm, join the SSSB queue immediately. Most students stay here in the place I stay called Lappis (The biggest student community). it is less than 3kms from campus. 15-20mins by public transport.

The jobs in Sweden are mostly related to Computer Science. As my course is in that department so, it?s not really that hard to find a job. Because of these Covid times where most companies laid off their employees so, it?s kind of challenging now. But, I think if you graduate from KTH, it?s not going to be very difficult to find a job. During my studies, I worked twice part-time. The companies in Sweden really appreciate KTH.

I was living on campus when I was there for 2 months. All the facilities were available there. The cost was $600 per month. But, now I am going to live off campus. It is the university student housing but, it's like right outside the university. Here, the cost is $1000 per month.

Very difficult to say but EU in general is considered a good place to work. The average salaries are quiet high and if you are on of those brilliant minds, you should not have a problem.

The aspect of studying in 2 different technical uni in Europe was exciting and also we get a minor in Entrepreneurship which I always wanted to learn to start my own venture someday

The automotive companies in Sweden are: Scania, Volvo cars, Volvo group, CEVT, Koenigsegg etc at the same time there is also a possibility to apply to consulting companies such as Åfry, FS Dynamics, Alten etc. Salary is completely depend on your skills and experience.

The overall curriculum was interesting especially for my course in Vehicle Engineering, there were option to choose your own subjects during your master studies to widen your knowledge base, at the same time the formula student team was quiet interesting to work with to gain practical experience.
