The QS ranking is 97. My course is Environmental Engineering and Sweden is great in environmental policies. Stockholm is a well-connected global city. All those factors drove my interest. The university is second in Sweden and great for research studies. The admission process is very seamless. Sweden has a centralised application. I applied for 7 colleges; I was accepted at 4 and rejected at 3. I was rejected by ISAE SUPAERO, TU Delft And the University of Twente. I personally think my GRE score was not enough and my bachelor's was not equivalent to the Dutch bachelor's. Isae supaero was a very competitive University for my course; I guess I had better candidates applying for it. I was accepted at KTH, POLIMI, BOLOGNA, and ÉCOLE CENTRALE DE LYON. From which I chose KTH. I chose KTH; talking to my seniors in college, my professors, and the university itself had a great impact on choosing it over others. Admission starts in the month of December; the last day of applications is 15 jan. Then the results are declared on the 3rd week of March. We apply at universityadmission.se and the basic requirements vary according to the courses. The IELTS requirement is 7. I applied for fall 2024. it took me a total of 3-4 weeks for my entire application process to be done. I started off with my LOR; I got 3 for KTH and I started working with my SOP. For Sweden, you can select upto 4 colleges in your application, and you can rank them. I have applied to KTH, Chalmers and Uppsala University. I have got admission for my first choice of preference. I have also qualified for other universities but it was pretty easy for me to decide.     As KTH is the top ranked technical university in Sweden and also in the capital of Sweden, it was an obvious choice for me.  The application period is from mid of october till mid of jan for the fall intake and there is only one intake for international master's programme. You'll be announced with the admission results by end of march or beginning of april. IELTS minimum score is required, but if you are from an English medium background and could able to prove it with a certificate, it should work. It was pretty much straight forward, just read the required documents and submit it accordingly. There is usually only one intake for Master Programme (Fall) - The application period is generally mid of Oct to mid of Jan. The results will be announced by the end of march or beginning of April. There will be 2 or 3 arrival days in August, during those days university will pick you up directly from the airport.
