Remarks

The hostel mess food need to be adjusted. Quality of food is bad.Weekly 4 times egg (boiled,omlet). No non veg provided in hostel mess. No restrictions on quantity of food to consume.No proper maintenance of hostel. Too much of dust due to presence of a factory beside.

Course Curriculum Overview

Need to do hard work and self efforts are very necessary. Difficult at the beginning but once We get through first year then it seems easy. Total 3 subject for first year, 4 in second, 3 in third , and 4 in final year. A total of 4 and half year of smart and also hard work to pass exams.

Placement Experience

There is good job opportunities for doctors.This college has internship but there won't be any stipend given for now atleast may be it might change in days to come. It's a very good experience to be in this college.

College Events

Events related to health or awareness will all be celebrated well with students participating in drama and quiz competition. Sports are given little importance. Not much of cultural events takes place in the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For KCET students the fee structure is feasible around 2 lakhs per annum. For the students who opted seat through comedk fee is a bit expensive that approximate about 7 lakhs per annum. And management seats are expensive.

Scholarship is available for the beneficiary's. The college provides all the necessary information required to apply for the scholarship and also for the loan. Scholarship will be provided every year by the college and will be informed to student to for he needful

Campus Life

Labs are good and well maintained. As for sports there is no much importance given. There is a ground infront of hospital and a badminton court in college. Indoor games are also available. Extracurricular activities such as quiz competition is conducted regularly. But lack of cultural activities in college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is close to college. Walkable distance. Infrastructure is not that good. There is no proper maintenance services. There is no attached washroom,Common bathroom. Blockage of pipes causes no proper drainage of dirty water. No facilities for washing clothes.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students help us to study and guide on the books to be used to study and have a good source of knowledge and help to score well during final exams. They support us during all cultural activities and also sports events that take place in the premises

Admission

Through KCET. Online application and then paid the fees in college. A total of hostel KCET and College fees to be payed at the bank very close by to college. A total of ?2,21,000 so the timings were from morning 9 to evening 4.

Faculty

Faculty of college is good. Very well qualified doctor's treat and also teach very well during clinical postings. In some department there is shortage of lecturers. The faculty support the students to learn and help them in every way possible.

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

Placement Experience:

The first batch of students is passed out in this year from our college. Now they are doing their house sutgency. Besides they are preparing for their pg studies. Most of the students will opt for higher studies like MS, MD, etc. Our hospital is average with average cases. And specialty hospital construction work is going on.
