Remarks

There is no negative remarks for government brennen college. I can surely say any student who lived here will not say anything bad about our college. The current chief minister of kerala Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan and many popular people across the nation are the alumni of government brennen college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is very good. There is 6 semesters on a BA course which is 3 year long. There is a semester exam on every 6 months. The exams are totally controlled by Kannur University. After all semester exams, if we passed we will get a grade card and after all we can gain our degree certificate

Placement Experience

1.5

The college is not giving any internship programs. Because it is a government body. It can't be like other management colleges. And it is an arts based college. So many companies are giving placements to students who were studying in engineering colleges. So option for the students in this college is mainly based on higher studies

College Events

4

There are many programs contained by the college every year. Most of the programs are generated by the students union. 1- Freshers day, 2- Onam celebration, 3- Christmas celebration, 4- Arts festivals, 5- College Union election, 6- Union inauguration, 7- Magazine presentation, 8- Ifthar meet, 9- Department festivals, 10- College day,

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is feasible for every students because it is government college. There is no expensive fees in our college. According to other colleges, government brennen college is providing the lowest fee structure.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

There are many scholarships for students. The scholarships are provided by state government and central government. We can apply for scholarships based on our qualifications. There are community scholarships, merit based scholarships and differently abled students scholarships and many.

Campus Life

4.5

There are many extracurricular activities in government brennen college. Science lab, computer lab, library, reading room, physical education, NCC, NSS, ASAP are some of them. And many coaching centres are providing special coaching for students on various exams as per co-ordinating with college authority.

Hostel Facilities

3

I opted hostel because there is 50 plus kilometres are there in between my house and brennen college. The hostel infrastructure is good. According to the hostel fee the infrastructure is good. There is no expensive hostel fee.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni associations including old students are always in touch with government brennen college. We can proudly say many times these associations are very helpful for students. The associations are providing many things for the college. There is some scholarship schemes for the financially backwards are provided by the alumni associations.

Admission

I didn't get admission on first allotment, because I have got only 81% mark in 12th standard. Then I waited for it and I got admission on spot admission criteria. There was a small admission fee. I paid it. That's all.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty on our college is very good according to other government colleges. There is 'parents teachers association' (PTA) fund for emergency needs. And here is a strong student union which is involved in every issues of students and college and the authority will take actions timely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As im a malayalam student i think nothing about the syllabus should be changed because they teach evry aspects of kerala literature and its culture .If you want to learn language malayalam more then you should learn all of the grammar, culture, history, literature and also they are teaching foreign literature and theories which emerged along with the waves in kerala. So i think nothing to be changed in course curriculum.

The college has a unique atmosphere, usually found in prestgious universities of the world. The college student body reacts to every issue around the globe, and thus is famed for being enlightened. Not enough inclusion of modern technology to aid teaching. Faculties tend to be very politically aligned and biased, usually for personal gains.
