Remarks
Everything is Good about this college. My experience so far has been nice and I like my college. They provide good placement opportunities to all students. The canteen is also good. The hostels are fine. So in all, it's a good college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course Curriculum and examinations are handled by Visvesvaraya Technological University(VTU). The exams are conducted every semester, each semester being 6 months for a total of 4 years. The Curriculum as of now is up to date with the current trends in the IT industry and various other engineering fields.
Placement Experience
Our college provides very good placement opportunities to people with good GPA and also to the people who have scored low GPA. They did not provide any Internship opportunities until last year, but now they are providing that also.
College Events
We have various events conducted in our college. We celebrate Kannada Rajyotsava, Ethnic Day, Vismay(Inter College Fest), Inter Department Fests, Industrial visits to various companies and also Sports Day.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The Fee structure is pretty feasible as we have to pay for the college fees around Rs. 25,000 apart from the KCET fees. Compared to other engineering colleges, it is affordable and not at all expensive. We can also pay through installments.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many scholarship and loan facilities provided to students. The most common and easily available scholarship to students belonging to OBC category is Karepass scholarship. It gives around Rs.23,000 to students who can use it pay their fees or any other expenses.
Campus Life
The labs are really well equipped with latest technology and there is also a huge ground for playing. We can also play indoor games as there is an area for that also. We have various competitions and other activities conducted by the different departments.
Alumni/Alumna
The Senior students often provide help during Placements. They recommend their company to conduct a drive in our college and many people get selected through that. Many seniors also conduct workshops to help the students regarding placements.
Admission
I got into this college through Karnataka- Common Entrance Exam(KCET). It is an exam conducted by the Government of Karnataka to get into engineering colleges of Kanataka. Based on my ranking, I got my admission at Don Bosco Institute of Technology.
Faculty
The faculty in our college are good at what they know and give equal importance to all the students. We can go to them whenever we have any issues, they are always there to help us. I haven't faced any situation where the faculty has denied help or guidance.
