Course Curriculum Overview

5

I would rate the course curriculum 9/10. The subjects are useful and match what companies are looking for today. We don't just study theory we also do coding, projects, and assignments that helps us understand the topics better. I like that the syllabus is updated and includes skills that are important for the future. Overall I feel the course prepares us well for both internships and placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

I almost didn't apply because the tuition fees looked high at first. But after learning about the NAT scholarship, I realised the actual amount you can pay can be much lower if you score well in the entrance test. For my batch, the tuition fees is around 4.5lakh yearly, making it around 18lakh for the full four year. My advice to anyone applying is not to judge the college based only on the fee you see first. Spend some time preparing for NAT because a good score can make a big difference to your overall cost. That's exactly what many students including me did, and it made the program much more affordable.

Campus Life

5

It didn't take long to make friends here because everyone is friendly and open to working together. I joined a few tech club activities, and they helped me learn new things while meeting seniors and students from other batches. Apart from academics there are workshops, coding events, and fun activities that keep the campus lively. The infrastructure is also good with clean classrooms, well equipped labs, a library, sports facilities and comfortable place to sit and spend time with friends. Overall the campus has a positive environment where it's easy to learn, connect with people and enjoy college life.

Admission

Before taking admission I compared NIAT with a few other colleges. Most of them offered the same BTech degree, but the way NIAT approached learning ws different. I liked that the focus was on building practical skills through coding, projects, and industry exposure from the beginning, instead of only preparing for semester exams. Another factor was the smaller class size, which makes it easier to interact with faculty and get personal guidance. The NAT scholarship was also a big advantage compared to some other colleges I considered. Overall NIAT felt more balanced

Faculty

5

One thing I noticed is that the faculty is genuinely invested in student progress. They don't just teach the syllabus and leave, they take time to understand where students are struggling and offer extra guidance whenever needed. I also appreciate that they are open to discussions, whether it's about academics, projects, or career goals. The classroom environment is relaxed, so sharing ideas or asking questions never feels intimidating. That has made learning much more comfortable and enjoyable for me

Night Life

5

Overall experience has been great because there's a good balance between studies and free time. Outside classes I usually spend time with friends at the cafeteria, library, or the common areas. The tech clubs and workshops are a good way to learn new skills and meet students with similar interests. The campus also has a gym, sports facilities and a comfortable hostel, so everything you need is available in one place. Since all these facilities are close by campus life feels convenient, active, and enjoyable every day

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
